While it may be out of the question for some providers, I love going to games and sporting events for dates. I wouldn't mind at all going to a hockey game with you. Potential dates don't have to be in a traditional setting- i.e. your hotel room.  

I wonder what our team name will be...

This is obviously over a year away, but this is exciting news for me.  I will definitely plan on attending games in Vegas when my home team is in town.  I might even plan Vegas trips around my team being in town.

In general, I was wondering what ladies think about a hockey game as a potential date?  I assume it really depends on the lady.  Some might really enjoy it, while others might be bored out of their mind.  If you've never been to a game, it really is a fun game to watch live.

Las Vegas Dark Knights or just Las Vegas Knights.   At least that is what I read, as per the owner.  

But this isn't happening until 2017/18 season, so they have a while to figure out the name.

why they can't leak that info out to the public.  But I do agree it is a bit anti-climatic how it was leaked.  Of course, they aren't locked into that name at all, it was just the owner saying it was a name he was leaning towards.   They will probably make an official announcement at the same as unveiling the jersey design/color scheme.  

I would guess this all needs to happen before the expansion draft, because there is a lot of money will be made in marketing and merchandising (i.e., Jersey sales). The expansion draft is when they are allowed to "draft" one unprotected player from each of the existing teams, and that should happen some time in 2017.  

So it might be a while before the "official" announcement on the name

so the fact that he will chose Black Knights or Knights makes all the sense in the world. I would also not be surprised if the team colors are Black and Gold

that Kit is a huge sports fan, and she loved hockey.  A few years back we went to a Wranglers game together and had a blast.  If the team is in town when I'm down there we will go see a game.

Definitely plan your Vegas trips around NHL games and email the dates so I can also plan to be in town!!!!!

Excited to have a local team!!!!

I've done several hockey game dates before... mostly to see the Sharks in SJ.

good KitKat joke, but I've got nothing.  Break me off a piece?  Nah, not really working.

But anyway, of course, we would be going to see MY team....not your damn Bruins.  AND, you have to cheer for my team convincingly (no half-assed cheering)!  OK, just kidding about the cheering part.
