I'll be making my annual trip to Vegas in a few short weeks, with a stop off in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game, and I was just wonder how the weather is looking?

I don't expect to be outside much as I have plans made with a few of the areas fine ladies but you never know when you may have to dash outside for something.

Is UNLV playing hoops at home any day between Dec. 8 and Dec. 12?

55-60 during the day, 35-40 at night is about average. Freezing temps at night isn't unusual. You MIGHT get a 65 degree day, but if you expect shorts and short sleeve weather you are likely to be disappointed

I had a friend arrive from Minnesota in December, and he was easy to find in the casino...the shorts were a dead giveaway!

Those dates are right in the middle of the National Finals Rodeo.  They annually take over the Thomas & Mack Center at that time and UNLV Basketball goes on a long road trip.  It's good news if you're a rodeo fan.

it's the same time every where, all the time in every casion in vegas

or as jimmy bugget, i mean, buffet (can't type)

it's five o clock somewhere !

only it's five o clock every where in every vegas casino.

I hear , also, that it is projected to be dark tonight, very dark, followed by more darkness leading to light in the early morning. But it will be five o clock somewhere.

It stays warmer in Phoenix through the winter, I loved living there because I coudl still go lay out in the backyard by the pool on my days off from work.

I miss that :(

That's how it is here in Fla.  I guess no snow on the ground and 70 degrees in Jan. is a fair trade off for hurricanes in the summer!

fall and spring don't last long bt the days are sunny, warm and lightly breezy. It's cool enough at night that I prefer a light sweater or jacket, and since I have many of them, I finally get to wear them before the really cold windy weather comes. Also, I save a little gas not having to run the ac in my car. Last month my electric bill was $67.00!!!

Yes, I am very happy and it shows.

It shouldn't be too bad.  I don't think SEMA last week filled up the town like years past and NFR doesn't come close to matching the attendance figures for SEMA and the related auto shows.

oh, back to the original question, here's the info from the LVCVA:
