I am a complete newbie, no experience heading to Vegas in a month or two after getting out of a long relationship and looking for an escort. However, a friend of mine just got back from his first experience and it was terrible. The girl quoted him a price but when she got there she said that was the agency fee and it was going to cost a lot more if he wanted any services other than her time. It turned into a big, expensive hassle that ruined the experience for him.

I have researched independents on line and rates will say $500 all inclusive. Is this true or is it standard for them to charge an "appearance fee" and then additional money for any services?
