After spending a couple days on the south strip last weekend, I'm curious as to just how much business those "card girls" actually get. My goodness, there must have been 100 of Vegas' finest citizens handing out cards in just a one block stetch, not to mention the mobile billboards! Obviously, there must be some payback on this marketing approach.
Oh, and for any of my "friends" who inquired as to the results of the recent "enhancements" of the beloved "blonde", my thorough examination found them to be AWESOME!! However, she may have to take some of her blouses in for alterations! hee-hee!!
You know..I too have wondered about the guys and gals that slap the cards together on the strip to make noise and then pass the cards out. I wonder how much they get paid for their work, or perhaps its a barter system with the ladies who work for those agencies? What about the folks who drive around those long vans with the agency info printed onto the sides..what do you think they might get paid? --Sitara Devi

Not all, but a great majority of those agencies reside upstairs, above the Can Can room and yes, they do profit GREATLY from those means of advertising. Don't believe me? Just sit in that parking lot on your average weekend at about midnight and watch the endless parade of cars coming and going of the girls going to make their drops to the agency. It's one of the funniest places in Las Vegas to go and people watch...I'm really not kidding! Especially when the pimps come rolling in one end of the parking lot in their Escalades with the girls. The SUV with 24 in rims parks, passenger side door swings open, girl darts out in 8 inch heels to run upstairs while the dude waits and 3 minutes later she's running back down and hops back in on her cell phone with another agency call. It's hilarious! Keep in mind, staffing in the marketing capacity (as you have already notices) probably is employing people who, by day, you see hanging around looking for employment at your local Star Nursery, Home Depot, or Lowes, if you get my drift, so overhead is probably not very high.
