So I've seen some girls with only 1 review on them.  When I checked it out, the posters review seems good. But the website shown is on backpage.  I'm really skeptical about backpage, always thought the girls on there are bait and switch.  So I'm wondering can I really trust those reviews?

...and others may disagree.   Backpage isn't considered one of the more reliable sources of providers in Las Vegas.  Now that doesn't mean there aren't some legitimate gals on BP.  BP is popular in certain regions/cities of the country and as such, a few legit LV gals post ads on BP.  But Vegas is, unfortunately, plagued with scams that prey on the uneducated horndawgs.  All to common is the scenario of a dude perhaps hitting it big on the tables and, combined with perhaps a few drinks, deciding to celebrate the last minute.  So they hit the BP ads.  My advice for newbies to the Vegas scene is to stick with well reviewed gals on a reliable source, i.e here on TER or P411 or Date-Check.  The LV Ad board here is certainly filled with lovely ladies.

When you come across a lady that appeals to you but she only has ONE review, always click on the hobbyists handle who reviewed her. which will bring you to any other reviews that he might have written.

If the lady is not well known and the hobbyist has no other reviews to his credit, I move on..... Next !!!

That's exactly my thoughts. I used TER in the past and renewed my P411 account recently since I broke up with the gf.  When I saw providers in the past, I always went with ladies with multiple reviews. Now I come across a single review and I start wondering how much you can trust a review. It's just bothering me cause the girl was damn fine and I sort of want to take a chance based on the review, but don't want to be scammed.  Never have and I hope I never will.  Just trying to get my thoughts out, most likely will pass but it make me think,  what if it's real ....

Yups, I did that. He had posted quite a few reviews. Seems like he travels a lot though. Not on any white lists.  So apart from the many reviews, all the other facts make me naturally skeptical if he's a legit poster.

Many reviews does not mean legit poster, but no white lists doesn't mean bad poster either.
This is such a subjective means of measuring legitimacy it can never be relied upon as anything more than one factor in a larger decision.

That being said... if the reviewer has only the one review and the review is a gushing explosion of adjectives and glowing escapades and the picture is a selfie taken in a cheap motel bathroom with condom wrappers overflowing the trash can in the background, I'd stay away regardless of what the little head wants.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

There are always girls that post on bp that don't know about the other sites.. There was just a review on another site for a girl that was really sweet. I messaged her to let her know. I explained to her the stigma that comes with posting on bp and now she is registered on here and the other site.
I haven't met her, but others have.. All positive things.

Like someone said.. If someone looks like the next America's top model, use other sites - like google image. Google their phone number and check if its attached to other ladies.. There are a few steps to see if you should be ok to go or if you should just avoid.

Remember.. Everyone starts somewhere. You guys all started and some of you had a rough time screening for your first lady (hahaha auto correct wants to change that to First Lady.. ) but now that you have learned the ropes it's much easier

Before I get into networking if you see a provider that appeals to you on BP google her phone number and see what comes up. Most of the time you will just get a reference to the backpage ad but once in a while something interesting may come up. If not, and there is someone I want to see, I will call with my "wolf" quiz. This is always done in good taste and I can figure out real quick by the tone of voice and the way an escort articulates if it is worthwhile pursuing.
Several of the replies here have commented on using boards like this and they are on point with this suggestion. I have networked with a couple of TER members locally and we have been able to swap information. They belong to sites I don't surf so I can receive from them their ideas or recommendations. One of these hobbyists belongs to the "ugh" site, oh yes, USASG. I now participate and I guess my name Graywolf had been around awhile so with several endorsements was received with trust. I know that this is a bottom feeders site full of perverts, pimps, LE and just plain cheap tricks, however, oysters dwell at the bottom and you will find an occasional pearl.  
Case in point. There is a very well reviewed provider from Florida that is traveling through Memphis this week. A friend of mine on USA said how she was one of absolute favorites and had seen her for three or four years about a dozen times. Without me asking he contacted her, told her about me and then messaged me saying that she was awaiting my call. We have an appointment at my place which is even nicer for later on this week. Wouldn't have happened without the contact and much simpler than all the verification sites which this particular provider belongs to (including TER with 58 reviews). There will be an upcoming review soon.
This is in no way meant to diminish the importance for all the beautiful woman that take their time and money to look so gorgeous and maintain their websites with constant updates of photos and information. I applaud you and have the greatest admiration for you. So I play between the known and the not so known. Why? Because I enjoy the thrill of the hunt - my handle was not chosen by accident. I'm not suggesting to any one to do what I do - there have been some interesting "close" calls. But what I am saying is start networking with your fellow local TER hobbyists by going to your local search of reviews and start a dialogue through PMing. This is very reliable for good experiences plus it's nice to know you've got a local guy to have your back and his covered by you.

Just as in any other profession reviews can be legit/real ,  
fake good- written by friends or family to help promote business ,  
fake bad -written by haters , jealous people or maybe someone just pissed at the person.
and many reviews yes truly legit and real.

Everyone has to start somewhere . Once upon a time I also only had one or two reviews .  
Doesn't mean that they were not legit , right ?  
The secret is to put the little head aside , and really use your BIG HEAD .

Don't let a pretty picture fool you .
Communicate with the lady email and phone , get a feel how she communicates with you .
Google is your best friend - USE IT !!!    
Google image , tiny eye ...... try to find if photos come up with different names or in other places.

If a small voice inside isn't making you feel comfortable , don't let that pretty picture fool you .

Also even longer history of reviews doesn't always mean all reviews are "legit"  
While a reviewer with a longer history of reviews , helps give more legitimacy to the review ,
it still doesn't mean 100%.
I know of "hobbyist" who write fake reviews ( good or bad )  
just to get free VIP , or to build credibility .........and they never actually saw anyone .
So even that sometimes you have to take as a grain of salt .

Use your common sense , really use that BIG head . don't let the little head get in your way .....
and you more or less should be OK .

Yes BP especially for Vegas , usually isn't a good idea .........but sometimes you may find diamonds in the rough ......... although beyond me how those girls can figure out BP but not other
sites .

No white list , means nothing . Not every reviewer asks for white list.
Not every lady is ok providing a white list ok after ONE meeting.......because anyone can be ok  
on first meeting . Sometimes true colors only come out later .  

AND lets say a lady shows up and it is bait and switch ... well don't be shy to send her back where  
she came from .  
When a gent says to me - Is it really you in the photo ?  
I say yes , and if it isn't  me , you can send me away .  
since I am real and it is me , I am not worried about saying that .
So ask her to say that to you before she gets to you.

OR if any up-sell , then don't give in, don't be shy, don't let your little head take over ( well she is here , it is late , I am horny )  ...... , send her away!!!!  
A legit lady will not up-sell.

I only have a few but they are all honest and real.

I automatically move on when I see someone is listed on Backpage.  As OD said, too many scams, too many if it seems too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true. There are so many wonderful providers in Las Vegas with their own websites and with multiple reviews that prove they are legit, so why bother with Backpage?

As far as a review being legit, you can check out the reviewer too.  Has the reviewer posted more than one review?  I am skeptical of a glowing review of a provider by someone who has only posted one review, though 10 1/2 years ago I posted my first review and it was glowing.  When you check a reviewer that has multiple reviews, you can also get a read on how he rates providers.  I have never understood glowing written reviews that give a provider 7's, but there are reviewers who are severe with their numbers.  They actually follow guidelines.  Me?  Well, last January I saw three incredible women in Las Vegas, each with a different look, but each stunning in their own way.  Technically only one of them should have received a 10 because how can 3 different providers be "once in a lifetime," but darn, they were all amazing.

Being so easy, free and well known, Backpage will of course at track all kinds of ads.  It is ideal for those wishing to exploit others and gain something without earning it.  Therefore, yes there are a lot of bait and switch, up sellers and out right rip offs advertising there.  You must be honest, however thet this is not 100% of the advertisers, lthough it is rampant. I have spotted some well reviewed ladies using backpage.  It is unfortunate for the few, yes few legitimate advertisers there to be harmed by the number of ripoffs.
