Nebish...

I have been coming to Vegas for over 30 years...

Yes, I am a very old fart, thank you for noticing.

I have never stayed downtown and am considering the Golden Nugget.   Downtown seem a little unseemly to me and I am concerned that providers would be reluctant to visit me downtown.

Is that a legitimate concern or am I just being a nebbish hypochondriac?

Bonus points if you know the definition of "nebbish" without looking it up.

I am sure pretty much any of us ladies would venture downtown.  I know I do and will continue to.  Golden Nugget is fine no problems there.

You should not be a worry wart!  Is that what nebbish means.  Like you worried and hesitant or something?

Well if you are interested I'd be happy to visit you there when you get here.

the Rush Tower is away from the main casino and closest to the parking structure. Very easy to access for the ladies and NO security. The suites are large and clean and not as expensive as the strip, so I can spend more "funds" on the ladies.

If you get the upper floor suites (22+) then you will need a card to access, but since the elevators have no security, very easy to meet the ladies in the lobby.

eccentric? Exaggerating? This is a guess. I'm going to look it up as soon as I post this. I hope I'm not embarrassing myself.
And yes I would visit the Golden Nugget

I looked it up.
Also, the first response  was spelled incorrectly due to voice recognition.
Thanks for the new word

there are more modern updated hotels than the Golden Nugget to stay in, the rooms are  kind of out dated , but not a problem to visit since it gives me a chance to visit downtown to see what is going on and what is new

Francheca... Im curious about your comment on the most modern venues downtown. I know there have been several hotel upgrades in recent years. Which ones would you prefer to the Golden Nugget?
I stayed at the GN 2+ years ago and liked it a lot.

Maybe because the hotels don't have a 1 mile walk from Valet to the rooms.. that being an important factor for a lady wearing heels.

Actually its because hotels downtown feel a little smaller a little more intimate and a little more discreet.

GN is of course my favorite downtown hotel and I recommend the Rush Tower.
