Will be in Vegas next week and plan to see a few independents. I was thinking of staying at the
Rumor Hotel. It's a boutique hotel close to UNLV.

Anyone stayed there or have any positive or negative feed back about this hotel?

I haven't stayed there or been in a room but I have been to other areas of the hotel (bar, restaurant and pool area.)

The grounds remind me of an average apartment complex.  They are dog friendly so if you have allergies or don't like dogs, best not to stay there.

If noise bothers you, be aware that the location is very close to the airport and you can REALLY hear the planes overhead.  

The staff seemed very helpful, friendly and genuine.  

The Vdara, Palms Place, Cosmopolitan and Aria are other great choices as far as boutique hotels.
