Marketing question

If a lady responds to lots of different ads, is that good marketing or does it smack of desperation?  How much is too much?  Business is slow right now, but I don't want to make a nuisance of myself.

I think responding to every ISO etc shows a lack of business which tends not to be attractive to the men.  At least from what some have told me when I asked.

You don't want to look desperate so I would say try to limit your response to all the ISO's or are you this girl, type of post.  Make the guys do their homework ;)

Especially when I see gals responding with the "pick me, pick me" refrain.

If you are a VIP (and you can get it for nothing) why not PM those guys. That would be more professional. Of course you run the chance of PMing the guy only to find out he is too CHEAP to purchase the VIP himself.

You will of course miss the lurkers who may see you posting on the forum with the "pick me". So choice is image or loss of lurkers.

As for lurkers if they are interested and have done their homework, if they want to see you they will call you.

Make sure you take advantage of the 7 day posting allowance and get your ad up weekly though. They all do that and you still will get as much exposure and responding to every ISO post, until your ad runs off page one.

My 2 cents.

Kind of like waving your panties above your head: We get the message, but some respect is lost.

If it were me (ignoring the obvious bad business fit) my concern would be that the wrong clientele would be attracted, if you get my drift. Someone posting what sounds like a need may also be inclined to lower the screening bar with little enticement.

Otherwise, I greatly enjoy the gals who participate in the chatter on the board. Without you, it's just a bunch of us horny old guys - a little scary, don't you think?

PS - To that pretty little gal at the M&G last year that was waving her panties over her head: I don't mean you, dear.
