I will be in town for the basketball championships and would appreciate any recommendations on the best places to watch them or any events being held around them.

I have always stayed at the Aria and been very happy with their Sports Book for watching horse races.  However, get there early or you won't find a place to sit.

Bellagio Sportsbook just remodeled.  

Not seen it; but the pics look nice.

If you have the cash, secure a wraparound suite at the cosmo.  
The room has 2 nice 46" HD TV's.  
THEN secure one or two ladies from TER.
