I don't go to Vegas that often, but the hobby is a main impetus to go. Last time I went was before the pandemic, and I had an outcall meeting at my hotel, Bellagio.  I generally like the session to be date-like, girl all dolled up and dressed nice, prefer she come to my room. But this girl (whom I knew from before when she had toured) came casual, incognito, not dolled up, and waited at the entrance for me to come down and go up together. She said the Vegas liberal attitude has changed and the hotels are aggressively trying to stop the escorts these days. They stop girls at the elevators, ask for room key, ask for destination, etc. She even said they sometimes stop couples at the elevators and quiz them to make sure they are real couples.  Is any of this true?  Are the Vegas hotels cracking down on the hobby?  Are there good hotels and bad hotels for hobbying? I had researched it on this board and I thought Bellagio was one of the better ones for the hobby.  I'm thinking of coming to Vegas this summer when it fully opens up, so I would like to know how to have the best experience.

The security at the elevator will stop anybody that doesn't have a room key, guys who are solo, couples, girls, grandma and grandpa...no key no get in.As for actually stopping couples, seem like this couples may have been acting the fools. If you come in, acting shit like crazy, you'll get stopped, easy. Just don't be that ass....act like you belong.
Now, I've met girls who are dolled up and they didn't have a problem meeting me.
The way I play, all hotels are what you make it to be, they are only bad hotels if you're an idiot.
Now, your friend sounds like she' may be wound too tight....Or she may have been a some ban list,it sounds that way to me.

Good question. I used to visit Vegas 3 times a year and had a date or two along with seeing shows and excursions. I want to return. I’m thinking the environment has changed. It’s nice having the date meet and or come to the room.

Just flash your hotel keycard and should be good to go

If your lady of choice doesn't have a keycard she most likely won't be let up so meet her downstairs by near the elevators(personally never had a problem this way) or by coffee shop, parking garage etc.

unless we are meeting for a dinner date or extended date. I arrive dressed nice but casual. Make up done but dressed casual. Dressing like a "hooker" for a short date is really a red flag

And yes, more and more hotels required an active key card to get to or use the elevators.

It's one of those things thats been around a long time,  but I'm at a loss as to why your lady friend would be questioned in such a way.

Jaydalee posted a list of some hotels a couple months back not doing the security thing.  I've tried to post a link to that below.

I'm guessing that post COVID, we are going to se security increases across the board fo a good long while.
