I haven't been in CH2 lately but last time I was there, it was still $20/dance but $100/3 dances in the VIP room.  You'll find $20/dance pretty common all over town.

Some things to note:  You're mileage will vary.  There was a new county ordinance that went into effect around Labor Day which can cause dancers to be nervous, esp if vice happens to stop by just before or while you're in the club.  While clubs outside of the city of Las Vegas are the only ones affected, it doesn't seem like there's much change from before.  You won't find extras in any club (unless you're extremely lucky; actually, I've heard secondhand that there were some dancers at CH2 that were arrested for solicitation, I'm assuming inside the club).

Until 8pm the laps at Cheetahs are $10 and can be very full contact - best deal in town IMO.  Also no cover until 8.  Easy way to find a good girl without spending a lot.  When you do find a good one, the VIP is 4 for $100 in the back or $20 per dance in the front VIP. YMMV!

You're right about the pricing and services of lapdancing elsewhere.  In Las Vegas, $80 to $100 for a couple songs doesn't get you much entertainment.

In El Paso (TX), a fully nude dancer will grind your entire body through the table for a $10+ song.  As a side note, they are just as attractive as the Las Vegas dancers.

In San Francisco, it's not uncommon to get a grind to "completion" from a topless dancer for $20 to $50.  Not all clubs, and YMMV.  As a side note, here they are far less attractive than their Las Vegas counterparts.

I went to Olympic Gardens on a recent visit to LV. $20 cover charge. $20/dance in main room and 3 dances/$100 in VIP.  Dancer quality was very good.  The type/quality of dance will vary by the dancer - I would spend a little time "observing" the ladies giving dances to others before making a selection.
