Because there has to be some kinda comfort level or vibe. Some slap dicks are clumsy or really don't know what boundaries are tolerable.

I will agree that it’s not often you will find a provider who will trust an unknown client on a first encounter to tie her up, it’s simply too risky. The only time this has happened for me it was not planned, was a spontaneous decision based on an unexpected comfort level and during a dinner date that ended up turning into an overnight.  (I ended up seeing that client over a period of 6 years!)

 
I think a lot of providers are comfortable playing mistress as it’s much lower risk but perhaps some are more dominant by nature. I had a duo partner in Montreal who truly loved being a mistress, it was a passion of hers and she was amazing in the role.  Me, I’m naturally more comfortable in a submissive role - I still enjoy being dominant with clients occasionally when the occasion presents itself, but it’s not my passion as it is for some.
