Haven't been to Vegas in a minute, but I am assuming that most hotels on the Strip will require a room key to use the elevators. I know one trick is to meet the lady in the lobby and accompany her up. But, what if that's not possible? (Like maybe I'm traveling with workmates.) Any other tricks?

That’s a good question! Most hotels on the Strip do require a room key for the elevators now. When extra discretion is needed, there are definitely a few easy workarounds. Sometimes I’ll meet my date near the parking garage to hand off a key, or we’ll keep it casual—he’ll find me standing at the bar, come up next to me, order a drink, and quietly slip me the key. Then we head up separately, like ships passing in the night. 😉

There’s always a way to keep things smooth and discreet.

You can discreetly pass a key in the sundries shop while getting a bottle of water or a snack. I could be sitting on a slot machine, and you could sit down next to me and pass me a key. We could meet at the bar or in front of a restaurant. I have had gentlemen hide a key in a planter box before, and I would retrieve it. We can always figure out a way for us not to be seen together!

I have gone to the shop to grab a water and person would walk by and slide me the key.  Or meet near the entrance to the self parking garage and hand me key and then walk ahead of me
