This is almost the wrong crowd to ask this question, as all the girls here are more high class than this, but I really want to know.

Are there any hotel/casino's that still look the other way and allow some girls to hang in the casino or bar looking for clients?  Every so often I get tired of researching and picking a girl off the internet.  It's fun to "discover" one in person and negotiate on the spot.  Sometimes works out great, usually just average.  But it's fun to people watch, pick out the working girls, admire what they have on, flirt with them, etc.  It used to be after about 11pm there were girls everywhere, sitting at slot machines, strolling the area, enjoying the bar.

On my last trip to Vegas of the three hotels I stayed at over a week long period there were almost no working girls, and the ones I saw were being escorted out by security. As the women on this board walk through these places all the time, I wondered if you know if there are girls hanging at any of the hotels any more.  Just really curious, would love to stay at a more exciting place next time.

Fun is Fun...unless they're vice. Also, sometimes the gals get something other than an escort by security. A lady friend of mine was playing slots, had a guy come up and start hitting on her pretty heavy...when she smelled a rat...they busted her for solicitation (her word against there's)and eventually got reduced to trespassing. Sooo...with cops working it heavy lately, maybe that's why you don't see them anymore. Just sayin'...

At first this post made me ROTFL..but then I thought well, legit question. Heres my 2c worth:
A gaming license, liquor license and/or a hotel license is a very valuable commodity, and the authorities in charge will yank priviledges for properties that condone, or 'have knowledge' of illegal behaviour. Thus the properties that have these licenses are very wary and aware of any 'illicit' activity. Contrary to folk legends, Prostitution and 'prostitution-related activity' are illegal in Las Vegas and all of Clark County. And yes they are seriously enforcing the laws. IMHO, You are just asking for BIG trouble walking that path, the LE are way more experienced at spotting YOU than you are at spotting THEM. Just don't go there...What happens in Vegas goes staight to your rapsheet.

Go ahead and people-watch, that's still legal. But stop there.

They may be putting on a show by removing hookers from the casino area but upstairs in the suites there are numerous parties going on all day every day with free flowing coke and other drugs too numerous to list.  

If the casinos were really worried about illicit activity they & Metro would police the parties.

Fat chance of that happening.

There is a sad chapter of this activity called the 'Trick Roll' and its mastered by many of the girls 'working the bar or casino.'  You pick one up, take her to your room, have a drink with her... and next thing you know you have the worst hangover of your life and your wallet, watch, laptop, camera, etc are gone.  Now IF you are in the 10-20% that would call Metro and report what happened, what would you tell them?  She was a blonde/brunette/redhead in heels and a mini skirt and looked damn good?  Boy that would narrow the search right down! Not.

You are not getting any of your stuff back even if they do find the 'lady' and if you are a tourist, you aren't likely to come back and testify in court.  They KNOW all this and thats why they do it.  

Women working from TER are so unlikely to do this lest they end up with 'Rip Off' reviews.  Stick with known quantities.

I don't know..I spend so much time in Vegas these days that I'm practically a local--and nearly every day that I'm in town, I can be found in one of the high-end casinos.

I get cruised by working girls nearly every time I patronize a casino--and I generally don't even dawdle all that long in the obvious areas (bar, slots, etc).  I've seen no discernible downturn in this sort of activity.  If anything, I've something of an upturn--I had just assumed that this was a reflection on the times--times are tougher, so the girls have to work harder to attract customers.

A couple of months ago, I came wandering out of a casino at around 5 AM, needing a cab.  There were two lanes of cabs idling, waiting their turn.  I looked over at the attendant, and sort of gestured at him, not knowing which cab was "up next".  The attendant looked at me, and said, "Oh, you can go with her," gesturing at some absolutely skanky woman standing nearby.  Apparently, the cabbie (perhaps several of the cabbies?), the attendant, and the girl were all working together.  Couldn't even work it out--the girl was not terribly attractive.  How much could the rate possibly be, and what would each person's share be?  (Needless to say, I declined the opportunity to have the girl "escort" me on my ride home...)

My advice is to stay away from this particular kind of Vegas experience.  Haggling for services, running the risk of an encounter with LE, or of getting robbed, etc, is just not worth it.  The indies whom you can find here on TER will provide a much better experience, with virtually no risk of anything going horribly wrong.

All of your points are well taken and I agree it's much safer to use the girls researched on TER.  I was just curious about the status from locals perspectives.  After all the above comments, I shall continue with only TER women.  Thanks (but I'll still look at those mini-skirts or tight jeans).

But the quality of girl is no where near what you'll find right here. The ratio of hot working girl to girls you wouldn't hook up with for free is like 3 or 4 to 1. Which makes sense since both hotels are aimed at, to put it kindly, the travler on a budget.

The Sahara definitely fits in with your description, even security seems onboard. There's always a few working the main bar or playing penny slots. But as I'm sure others in this thread have pointed out, you run a greater risk of getting busted or disappointed going this route than you would by booking one of the girls here.

I was in vegas two months ago and stayed at the IP and there were working girls around midnight at the vp bars in numerous colors sizes and ages.I did see security ask one of them for id and she said she has none, the security guy simply said well you know what to do then! She got up and headed for the door. I have heard harrah's has no time for the girls in any of their casinos!

From my limited experience with Harrah's properties, that is true.  The Rio is always crawling with "trick-or-treaters", as the staff refers to them.  Nevertheless, my advice is to stick with the well-reviewed providers here on TER.
