I do not know anything about Las Vegas, & would appreciate some help.....

I am looking at some places on craigslist (to live), but do not know the area at all.....Where is "Mountains Edge"?....I guess it is called the "New Southwest"?....Is it a SAFE/CLEAN area?...How far away from the strip, is it?.

Mountains Edge is a new subdivision on the far southwest part of town.  Easy access to the South part of the Strip (around the South Point) via Blue Diamond Road--a sometimes very busy street.  It is definately safe & clean.  If you are a provider, it might be too far out for a practical incall location or quick outcall trips to the main part of the Strip,  but is generally a nice area.  Hope this helps.

I have lived in various parts of the city at various times.  My favorite place to live thus far has been in the henderson area.  Safe and clean.  friendly people.  you can walk your dog and feel safe.  reasonable distance from the strip (about 10-15 min depending on traffic).  Ive been looking for a place out there myself.

It is safe and close to the strip.
Good community.
Housing is not expensive and you get a lot of house.

I would say the south east and south west areas are pretty nice and safe. Come out and look around before you make a decision. The next three months are the hottest temps, but the next nine months are very nice.

and it's way the heck out there on the south west part of town, off of Blue Diamond.  It's not that new either, the first community opened up there about 2003.  One of those big ideas that went bust when the housing market crashed.  A lot of empty foreclosed houses are out there now.  Also has apartment complexes that were originally intended to be condominiums.  It's a long way from the strip, or pretty much anything considered a "commercial" area.  It's nice and quiet out there, but would be a long commute for work.

Mtn's Edge is way out of town. It has basically died as a subdivision it was going to be. Good places in the SW, Summerlin, NW parts of town. Takes me 15 mins to get to the strip. Shoutout for the NW!!

If you want to be close to the strip, there is a highrise apartment complex on Flamingo at Maryland, just 1.2 miles from the center of the strip. Great apartments, little pricey ($800-$1000), but they are huge 1 and 2 bedroom. Neighborhood isn't the greatest, but it's gated, and they don't seem to have had any problems. PM me if you want more info.

Great location for visiting all the hotels on the strip. Probably could do incall too.

I also live in the Henderson area and love it out here.  When I go to the strip, it is like fun time but then I can return home out here to my own little piece of paradise with great views of the strip.  

It is a little far out for incall but my guys don't seem to mind too much!  PM me if you want some information.
