Just wonder how accurate a portrayal you think it is of our little hobby.

I recently say a young lady in Atlanta that the main character reminds me of , in that she has a successful job in her civi life.

Is the star of "The Girlfriend Experience," and she's taking it all off.  So, I'm definitely watching it.

First I admit Im not that turned on by the girl in the show but I may be in the minority as I usually am with these things...lol.... She seems a little plain to be any type of escort though I appreciate her clients are looking for that type of girl in the show. Well educated and coming from an upper class elite schooling background like some Ivy school maybe. Some of the escorts Ive known are well educated but do not really come across like the plain girl next door. Cities like NYC could surely attract escorts looking like the shows' heroine I would imagine though as the city has someone looking for everything imaginable.

The other escort that was staying in a clients house (in early episodes) was also just not like any escort Ive ever known. Kinda plain and not really attractive. Dont see anyone like that making it as an upscale escort. Its just a show..I guess as long as they arnt portrayed as drug addled pimped out whores its a plus

Saw an interview with the main character chelsey where she said that she interviewed and got the low down of the biz from an actual provider to help her portray the character. But it is a fantasy show and not reality so yeah while some things in my opinion seem a little overblown like having half a million left to you from the old guy whos yacht you visit on occasion or the crazy jealous client hacking the law firms computer system to send out mass emails to your co workers. But For the most part I think she plays the part well and for some reason every time I have watched it the main character chelsey reminds me of one particular vegas provider. But I must say im probably totaly wrong and they are most likely nothing alike as I have never met her in person and only interacted with her through social media. The only downfall is that I only partake in the hobby in vegas while on vacation so watching the show reminds me of this and makes me wish I was on vacation again.

..for me to watch this after falling asleep to the movie of the same name. As hot as Shasha Grey is, that movie is the cure for insomnia.
