I remain confused about Uber...I heard they are gone already?
I have used Designated Drivers here in Vegas in my former "party girl" days. They will pick you up and drive you home in your own car for a fee which is pretty much the same as a cab especially if you live in Summerlin or the far north/southwest. Very nice service and worth it to have your car home safely with you! Stay safe out there and SLOW DOWN! ~namaste~
exercise extreme caution especially at night. And if you plan on drinking by all means take cabs, use uber or hire a car and driver. Metro and HP are unforgiving.

Almost like driving on black ice. It doesn't rain enough here to wash the oils off the roads so, when it does watch out! They all come up to the surface and it's like driving on ice. You do learn how to drive here in the rain but, it is watching out for the others that haven't figured that out yet that is the fun part!
I don't think it has effected the hobby much really. If anything there is nothing better than staying in bed all day on a rainy cold day!!!!
