The mom, who I still see, asked me if I thought it was weird for us to have lunch together and I said yes, so it never happened. I wondered where it was going, so I said not this time.

The reality is that I think she just wanted her daughter to meet me to show her that hobbyists can be "good guys". But I always just kinda wondered.
