Nothing wrong with wanting a luxurious setting or to save money for the more important things, but if someone's paying more attention to the room than the person you're with, they're doing something wrong. 
And nothing wrong with wanting to give more money to the lady than the casino...
I really need to get some sexy new pictures taken for my new website! So if you're staying in a nice hotel such as the Palms, Hard Rock (especially with Strip views), Mandalay (or THEHotel especially), Wynn, Venetian, Bellagio, etc. then please get in touch!
I'd luv to get some cool shots in some rooms of hotels like those. I can bring my little camera and you can have some "extra" fun (before, during, or after out "date" LOL) 
Or if you happen to have a super-juiced digital camera, let me know!
