Hi.  I am headed out soon and was looking around P411 and it seems like the rates are way up over last year when I could find some friends in the $250-500 range.  Now it seems like most visits are in the $500-600 range.  How could this be?  Are people really spending more now?  I never like to call and ask for a different rate, since I feel I would be insulting someone and this would end up affecting a visit if a lower rate was agreed upon.  Thanks for the info.

The Vegas economy is in the dumps and most providers here are willing to negotiate. Do it politely, so you don't lead them to believe you think they are worth less than their posted prices, but explain you have less discretionary money than you had before the crash and you may get some reasonable ladies willing to work with you. The ones who aren't willing to be reasonable may go the way of so many restaurants and other small luxury businesses which have closed their doors here in the recent past. Even the casinos have lowered their room rates.

Ummm the casinos lower room rates and make it up in gambling revenue and other hotel amenities.
So don't even make that comparison.

Every luxury restaurant that I have been too has been very busy and they have been raising their
prices .......so I guess Vegas economy isn't as bad as you think.

The Las Vegas economy sucks.  Locals as a group are not as active as they were in 2006.  Tourism is rebounding and any hooker worth her weight in used condoms knows to market to the tourists.  I personally hear all the time about ladies that can't afford some basic expense and bitching that the phone isn't ringing.  The OP is correct.  In spite of a shitty global and local economy, the price for rented pussy has hit new levels in Sin City.  It's worse because some ladies have figured out how to game the system to get a string of great reviews to justify those prices in spite of limited menus and trick photography.  There are still some good values to be had in town.  You just need to look past the list of weekly ad posters.

A search on P411 shows 102 ladies listed here in Las Vegas in the range you specified.
Try to do an advance search.
I am also on P411 and Date-Check with amazing reviews here and on other sites as well!
There are many fabulous ladies here in Vegas in your range that will show you a great time the list provided shows some and there are many more here on TER.

In some ways it makes sense that Vegas travel is doing well since it is one of the more economical destinations for a convention. I was just suprised that some rates are significantly up from last visit.  Oh well, it's not that I can't afford $500 or more for the right situation, but I may have to look in the sofa cushions ;)
