Hoping to get some feedback on proper etiquette. Being the loyal customer that I am, I reached out via email to a lovely lady that I met the last time I was in town and had a wonderful time with. She seemed to remember me (or was just providing good customer service) and was inclined to meet me again for my upcoming trip. I wrote back with my specific date and times and thanked her for being so accommodating, again. I did not mention anything specific, just the "package" name for the amount of time that I was requesting. That was last Thursday and I haven't heard back since.
So, my question is, how long should I wait to reach back out? I try to be very cognizant of not wasting the time of a provider and do not want to be a bother. Is it proper to just continue waiting? If so, what would you ladies recommend is the appropriate amount of time? Thank you all very much for your insight. I love the TER community!
I think its fine to tap her on the shoulder and remind her that you are going to be in town and wanted to confirm plans and if she can't well no worries.
As a provider, I know that life can sometimes get quite hectic and I forget to follow up on requests. I gentle reminder that you are still awaiting a response should be appreciated. I know I would appreciate it.
Thank you Ladies. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being rude or a bother.
As always, I appreciate you and your advice! PS - Hazel, don't think I have forgotten about you and your Personal Assistant offerings. I am still working on scheduling!
If they don’t respond then they are busy or not interested. It’s like hiring a contractor with doing work on your home. You find a good one you keep them…lol
