I'm currently taking a road trip and much of it is based around march madness. and a few other things that kinda make it the most amazing trip ever...

ill be in kansas city the 10-12

then eventually making it to vegas the 16-20...

if i can get a reasonably priced ticket I'm going to try to go catch a game in kansas city. if not, I'm sure I will find an event somewhere to watch it from...

im also at a loss for a favorite.. but i am excited to take a few overs! maybe a parlay of three overs! I'm also excited to be in the best city on earth to be watching this from.

(on a kinda relevant, at least they use the same ball lol, the wizards (my home team) are playing the cavs tomorrow night in cleveland. thats where ill be! tgif. :)

Me? Michigan State. It is definitely going to be an awesome 64 this year. We should have a party for the championship game!

No heavy favorite this year. Everyone has been beaten several times. Should be a fun tournament this year. Starts this weekend and next with 4 different conference championships in town.

A few years ago I attended a nice meet and greet during the finals weekend. Had the games on the big screen and mingling with others was a great time.

Hi!

If you didn't know, we have competitions on the sports board where you can win free VIP days for correctly picking winners of various sporting events - our next competition will be for March Madness. Keep monitoring the sports board for details (most likely around the 13th will be when we have the post up and ready); it's free to enter, and best of all, gives me an excuse to be on ESPN's website during office hours. Hope to see you there!

i love when i just guess things that i really have noooooo idea on and win. lol.

i wonder what the over under was on expected free days to give out for the Super Bowl. i would go ahead and go with the under. lol.

Most definitely the under, as I recall almost everyone had either Manning or Newton as MVP, and I seem to recall more Panthers picks than Broncos... I could be misremembering though, there's too many other sports that have occupied my mind in the meantime! Like the Six Nations... And the T20 Cricket World Cup starting soon... And pitchers and catchers have reported... And the NBA playoffs approach... And the F1 season is starting soon... And the hockey playoffs are on the horizon... :D

I also agree on Michigan State (Big Ten bias, lol).  Kansas also looks good as does Oklahoma.  UNC is good, except for their coach.  Wide open tournament this year and I am looking forward to spending the first rounds in a sports book with some parleys and the excitement.  The energy/vibe of the books are amazing.  Even if you are not betting,  the people watching/listening is always fun.

I definitely think there will be at least 1 Big 10 team in the Final Four. Most likely if Michigan State, but Iowa, Maryland, Indiana and Purdue could all do well. And don't count out Wisconsin.

Other than the Big 10, Kansas, Villanova, Virginia and West Virginia and Xavier all have decent shots at the Final 4.

Missouri girl here, still loyal to my home state!
