From the Tax post below someone mentioned a girl getting busted with a large envelope of cash, here's a tip for girls that travel to avoid this problem...

Of course if you have a national bank just deposit it at a local branch (the Vegas taxi drivers will take you there if you don't have a rental car).

If you belong to the First National Bank of Hoboken or something similar and can't deposit it you do have a few options. You can go to the post office or any grocery store and get a money order but anything over $3000 you have to fill out a tax form but sometimes you're not near a post office either.

I would suggest something called a "Green Dot" card; it is a pre-paid credit/debit card that you don't need to have a credit check for. You can go to any CVS, Walgreen’s, and some grocery stores. You pick up a little cardboard card at the cashier and you can add up to $500 dollars to it, just give the cash to the cashier. You then activate it either by phone or online and they will give you the card #, expiration and 3 digit number on the back, so you can use the card for online or phone purchases instantly. They will mail the actual card to you in 7 days.

Even before you get the card in the mail you can buy the "Reload Card" it looks the same as the cardboard card you get when setting up a new card and they also have a $500 limit. So you can go in a get 3 or 4 $500 reload cards and when you get back home you add them to your credit/debit card and use it to pay your bills or go to the ATM and take it out the cash.

There is a $10 fee to set up a new card and $5 for the reload. If you think you will be making a large amount, ask for the Premium card when you're calling or online to activate the card, it has a $2,500 limit so you can add more reload cards at one time..

It really is a lot easier then I probably made it sound, lol. But Check out their site below.. The only caveat that I know of is you can not use the card to purchase airline tickets, because of the 9-11 situation.
