Ok, this is food related; but I thought I would pass this little Thai food find.
Lotus of Siam gets all the publicity; but I just dined at another Thai place located in the same strip center as Lotus. It is called Arawan Thai Bistro - Amazing Fish and Desserts. Also very quiet, private place
I was in that strip mall recently for dinner - We were going to go to Lotus of Siam, but it was 45 minute wait ( which is about normal for Lotus of Siam) So, My date and I went to another Thai restaurant in the center, and it was outstanding! Lots of good eats in that area
you truly enjoy sushi..........the absolute best..........in Las Vegas and the U.S..........(trust me have lived in Japan) is Tokyo Boys..........on Stephanie and Warm Springs Road. Somehow they ended up in a restaurant with the façade of a diner...........don't be put off by it.........no reflection of the high quality of the food by any means.
A bit more expensive than your typical "all you can eat" sushi restaurant..........but we get what we pay for.
We can choose a fast food hamburger.............or a fine steak at Morton's.........pretty close comparison.
I've been ot sushi fever onfar west Sahara a number of times with friends who swear by it. Can't say Ive eaten it myself.. IM allergic to seafood!.. but it looked very good. The drinks were great!
