Can only speak for Vegas as I am not 100% up on how things are in other markets but I don't think the prices have gotten too steep out here. If anything, from what little I have ascertained of other marketplaces, Vegas still has the best bang for your buck that there is (no pun intended). Granted, with the economy in the state it is in many people have less opportunity than they have had in the past to partake, but I don't see many providers raising their rates in response to it. I don't think it would be a smart move for them to permanently lower them either regardless of the economic situation for too many reasons to count.
Bummer what happened to you in Orlando - but that is the primary reason many girls here offer better value for 90-120 minutes-plus instead of 60 and some have recently (or not as recently) stopped offering only 60 minutes altogether, to reduce the chances of that sort of thing happening.
I would advise you to spend some time on this site for Vegas and it will reduce your chances of an unpleasant experience greatly. There are many honest reviews and reputable reviewers here. Not to mention the best selection of providers in existence anywhere. But do be aware you are shopping at Nordstrom's rather than Ross here. Good luck and happy hobbying.
This is not a flame bait post - just putting out my thoughts. Does anyone think the prices are getting a little out of hand in Vegas and most other places? I haven't hobby'd for a few years - and I'm starting to dabble again. I'm making a stop over trip to Vegas on my way home from a conference to relax a little and wanted to pursue a little extra fun. I'm seeing prices for the most well reputable provider in the 500+ range - and that seems to be on the low range now. Now picking a companion is not a place to sale shop as I full believe you get what you pay for - but.. this past Feb I paid $$$$ for a top quality provider in the Orlando area - very glammy site - stellar reviews - knock out, a Vegas 10 any day, by her photo. She shows up - all mechanical - no gfe, wanted in and out - not dressed up etc.. Major bummer to drop that kind of coin and have her out the door in less than 30 min.
It just seems to me when you start hitting the $$$$$ range and above for an hour, so much is left to chance and not everyone clicks - which can lead to disappointment. I'm sure there is no good answer or way to avoid - other than meeting for a meet and greet ahead of time - but that not fair to her as time is money and whats to stop the JO from BSin'g just to meet - I guess if it was an easy answer someone would of came up with it already.. just say to me - is the market starting to out price is self for the quality delivered?
not everyone is going to have chemistry or click. Human beings have off days and not every experience in life is going to be the ONE just because we pay more for it. I love it when I get to meet people who I feel really comfortable with, but I have had my relaxed demeanor used against me on this site. I let myself feel comfortable, and you know, someone writes something unkind. I miss being able to really negotiate how long, what are we gonna do, for how much...then we can get creative!
I still feel like an hour is just time enough to get warmed up!

I am wondering if you got this topic from the GD board because it is the same topic and the amount is the same?You are posing this question regarding Vegas but yet you are speaking of a provider in Orlando.Did she have reviews if so did you read them?One bad experience which is not even in the range you are speaking about does not mean that every provider who has those rates will do as the provider you mentioned.You could spend from low to high rates and still have the same experience rates do not have any factor in this.Let me tell you what I think us providers will set our rates how we see fit and the guys who can afford it will have no problem.It seems the only ones who cannot afford the rates do all of the complaining.Whether it is 100 or 1k this is the ladies business why question it?There are many reputable providers here that do not have those kind of rates you are speaking of it is up to you to find the lady that best fits your needs and pocket.With research I would think you would not have these issues you speak of.

It is what it is. On the other hand, there ALOT of very beautiful ladies that provide just as good if not better service for 300+. You just have to do some homework. And you don't even have to put forth much effort, many have ads or post right here on this board. Good luck I suppose.
Sorry this is an original post not from another - any relation is pure coincident... Hey.. if the market demands 500 or 100 or 10k for that matter thats what it is.. I see guys a casino gambling in one hand more than I make in a month and I"m sure it pocket change for them - I'm a average low 6 figure guy that values his disposable income and lives within my means.
I haven't been to Vegas in over 3 years - some of the providers I really wanted to see that I scoped out for my last trip have simply upped their prices - out of my range, and if that what the market supports then great. Hey, everything is more expensive today vs 3 years ago - geez a gallon of gas cost me 4.10 this morning.. and that impacts the ladies.. they have to drive to appt and pay to park - so I get it...
My only point was once you get to that level *to me* its a big gamble to drop that kind of $ on someone you may or may not have chemistry with. My experience in Orlando was a bummer for sure and was used just as a example vs a indictment of all. Just to me its difficult to justify that level of pay when there are so many unknowns.. I can and will spend 300 on a session and if I really click with them I can do that again - vs dropping 500 or more and if its bad then no more play -

I guess not because there is no link to reviews you have written by your user name. Dude, write a review of what occurred in Orlando. Honest reviews can effect pricing. If a girl gets less than stellar reviews (honest ones, of course), then she may be forced to lower her rate to attract clients. (And hopefully, she will improve her service.)
I actually did.. but I had that account deleted. I"m from the Baltimore / Washington area and during the time I visited there were several very high profile agency and indy busts in the area. Local LE said that they infiltrated TER (yes TER) and was using that as part of their investigation - needless to say many people freaked - including me and I removed my profile. Just too much on the line to get caught up in that kind of stuff. The hobby in the area has kind of recovered, but since then I simply do not partake locally only when I travel - My silence is self preservation - at one time I had well over 20 reviews.
I actually did have reviewers remorse over this - and I did check her profile and it does seems that others are given her reviews that are in line with what I have so some of the guilt it gone - though I do remember her saying to me as she left.. "I don't know if you do reviews, but if you don't have anything nice to say please don't write anything"...
Prices in Vegas range from a $20.00 alleyway blowjob, all the way to $2000.00 for an hour.
There is a range of looks/prices for every budget.
I set "my value" as I perceive it to be. If your perception of my value is different, then that is where things get simple. You look elsewhere. As well you should.
You literally have 1000's of choice's here in Vegas.
Great answer...all goods and services appeal to their target audience and most ppl do not get this concept.
One of my LV favs (very well received and reviewed) charges what she charges because the vast majority of her business comes from out-of-towners and she can get her price. But she also runs an occasional announced (and some un-annoounced) specials for the locals who are also suffering from the crashed Vegas economy.
A couple others I see give really good discounts only to locals and those whom they have seen for a long time.
So it pays to be a local and to be a repeat.
I hear this type of talk at times. The price of dabbling in the hobby is a varied one. Where the market can bear a higher rate, that rate will prevail. It should. It is really very very difficult to address a price point in the hobby, because the hobby does have a great variety of nuances that can enhance or detract from ones personal experience. Because we are now in a troubled economy, people want more for their money AND people need to get more for their labor. One just has to rely on sources such as TER and hope to walk away from their experience satisfied. That is for both provider and hobbyist.
More like prices are getting steeper. They have always been excessive and have only been getting worse. But as has been said, they can charge what they want. I guess those implants ain't cheap.
We have this wonderful forum where all the cards are laid(!) on the table. Why complain?
If $$$$$ is out of one's budget, so be it. Don't accept the invitation or only treat yourself on your birthday. There are more wonderful ladies with quality services in the $$$ range than one could ever hope to meet. All you have to do is meet them, and, in my experience, after one or more meetings, one may well encounter voluntarily offered discounts, or extra services, or lets-hang-out-together time. Those become regulars. Good for me and good for them. And, if not, good for them too, because I'm glad they're really busy. Nothing wrong with that.
And if you can't go to even the $$$ range, you surely must know there are other forums primarily reviewing those in the $ and $$ range, but I've noticed many of those end up being in-calls in a weekly and often are not in town long.

Just some of my experiences over the last several years...
1) Response is Everything. The few that I have bothered to review were fantastic (and personally responded) to my inquiries.
2) I've inquired into some of the "Top" rated providers who have "Top" rated reviews and quite Frankly... the Chemistry just was not there. I got the feeling that they were doing me a favor... (perhaps they were??) ..... Pass....
3) I've been with some that were a little pushy from the get go but their reviews were so high that I went ahead.... and ended up regretting it. Oh well... they were beautiful and I've had the beautiful girl friends that were great eye candy. Honestly... these have been FAR cheaper then my high maintenance girl friends of the past so I'm happy to say that it was only an hour or two that I had to deal with instead of several months. I've bought purses that cost more then a weekend with the most beautiful angel you can spend time with so appreciate it. And with all of the diamonds I bought my ex... I could have booked out the top Provider in the World for a couple of months and I would be much, much happier with the memories then what I ended up with.
4) I personally have one in the sights right now priced higher then the norm that as soon as I'm not so Damn Busy --- I can't wait to meet. Fantastic Personality from MY VIBES. Super Sweet and due to the business I am in... did not chew me out for canceling our first appointment when I had to fly overseas on an Emergency. I CAN'T Wait to meet her...
5) Bottom line.... it comes down to personality.
Tough to comment without knowing your personality. At the end of the day.... it really Matters on what Works for you...
Reviews are great in helping to narrow down the wonderful choices and getting rid of the rip-offs.... but at the end of the day you need to do the research and get a feel for who is best for YOU.
I've been with a few that had Fantastic Reviews and they just did not work out for me. I know they are wonderful providers for others which is why I did not review them with negative ratings. Just not my type and our personalities did not match.
At the end of the night.... it really had nothing to do with the price.
So... Get rid of and stop thinking the Price Factor.... do some research and figure out who works best for you. There are more then a couple out there that are not "legends" who will take care of you at a fantastic price.
For what I do in my business.... Good Luck getting anybody cheaper with my experience.... LOL!
There is NO WAY you can compare prices in Las Vegas with Orlando. That's like saying I had a session in Omaha for $200, why is LV so expensive??
There are lower prices than $$$$$ in Vegas, but if you have champagne tastes, be prepared to pay the rate for the lady that you want.
It is disappointing when you dont "click" with someone, but everybody's mileage varies.
