I will be in vegas end of june I have interest in re connecting with someone i saw 6 years ago should I be embarassed that i have not made an effort to reconnect in the past thoughts opinions?

You should not be embarrassed whatsoever!

Everybody has the right to pick & choose what they, when they want.

Also, you may have just needed sometime to realize you've wanted that person in your life.

I say go for it! If that person brought you something special that you can't forget, why not?

Is she still actively providing? If so, I think it's fine. Just don't be surprised if she has a difficult time placing you--or can't place you at all. You may need to "start all over again", providing references, etc.

I've gone a lot less time than six years before trying to schedule a repeat date, and had this kind of thing happen. No harm no foul, just needed to re-introduce myself. Believe me, she won't be miffed.

Part of the deal is we pay them not to ask questions or go BSC with "he didn't call me, so he must not like me" issues. Get in touch, re-connect, and hopefully have fun.

No reason to be embarrassed

Life happens, there's no reason to be embarrassed about losing touch with someone. Better to take a chance and try to reconnect than to regret never trying.
