Ever considered doing a much smaller and less formal M&G in like a weekly happy hour at different places around town?  Be easy for people to meet and share some drinks without as much production.  As long as it was kept fairly classy, I'm sure there would be no problems and it would be a good time.

Maybe set it for the slowest night of the week. Just a thought.

Why not?  We do them locally here in Southern, California some twice a week.  Great crowd respectful & tip well!
