Seeing a provider or retired provider at a bar or club.confused_smile

I'm a Las Vegas local now and once in awhile head out to some clubs with friends who come into town. Recently I was at a bar (won't name the place) and saw a provider (or ex provider) that was working at this club. She's someone that I've wanted to see but was told by others that she's retired or UTR. Either way I spoke to her briefly but not about her alter ego or anything else. Just normal chit chat at the bar.
So I'm trying to figure out if indeed she is UTR or retired without insulting her or making her feel uneasy. Or if I should just leave it alone.

She may have left that life behind for a reason.  Your approaching her and "outing" her might make her feel really uncomfortable and vulnerable.  Especially if you are in her professional work place.

yeah, I get it. And I'm certainly not going to out her (there or here). She's just been a provider that I've always wanted to see.

On another note; when are you coming to Vegas? ;-)
thx for your .02 cents!

Plenty of fine ladies to have a connection with. Just let it go. When girls leave the biz, they usually have very good reasons and it is just better for you and them to move on.

That has happened to me in Vegas and here in La-la Land.  On my last Vegas trip I actually ran into one of my ATFs.  We recognized each other, but just smiled - her, probably for knowing who I am, and me, for knowing she was doing great (she left about a year ago).  No matter your personal thoughts or past relationship, just smile and waive.  If she wants to talk and leads, fine - but NEVER compromise the lady, especially in her place of work.  There are many ladies a lot of us wished we got the fortune to see once or once more (i always thought the "once more" crowd outnumbers the "once" crowd), but they're people too, and they have their own lives.  When they leave this hobby, it's often because they have very good reasons to.  No sense for us to bring up their past when they've clearly moved on.  There are times when ladies leave, but stay "UTR" for some very close "friends".  If she let you know, you're one of them.  if she didn't, you're not, wish them good luck in their future and let it be.  There are a lot of wonderful providers out there.
Enjoy your lives and enjoy the hobby - nothing last forever.  Someday all the wonderful women we've met will leave, so treasure the time you do get to spend with them, and expand your horizons so you'll never have to worry about ALL your ATFs being gone at the same time.  Just my 2 cents.

I am trying to get there, but there are hurdles.

Like you, I have put in substantial thought, effort and energy into this hobby. It's a two way street.

And I only care about the winners now. The otherside is too brutal and I am out of time and energy to help. I hate that I wrote that, but it is true for me and others certainly.

I loved that post, very thoughtful!
