least twice when I am in Vegas.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen of Las Vegas,

I have been invited to Las Vegas, and my gentlemen friend would like to share a casual evening (jeans/sweaters) iof good Mexican food, margaritas, and blues or jazz.  Prefer hole in the wall over a hotel on the Strip, but am open to all suggestions.

   Thank you for your time.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kelly

Señor frog sucks , just saying. I would like to know the same answer .

Wait...there is a Mexican cantina in the Tuscany, and they have live jazz shows every evening.
that's on Harmon, near the Hard rock.
Otherwise, you might have to separate the experiences.  Lots of good off-strip Mexican places..

....recommendations for Mexican food!  Taxis are plentiful in LV, and we are not on a time schedule.

Hugs,
Kelly

Lindo Michoacan there are two locations one on E. Desert Inn and one on Decatur in between Flamingo and Twain both locations are off the strip but great mexican food.
Sorry I do not have any suggestions for jazz clubs out here but I am sure there are others that might have some suggestions. You guys have fun!

Their best location is in Henderson where you not only get great food and service, but one of the best views of the strip skyline. All though this weekend with the weather that might be kind of hard to see.

Didn't know they had a location in Henderson thanks:)

Dona Maria Tamales.
I have only been to the one downtown, but there is also a location in Summerlin.

Soooooo. Gooooooood.

Sorry can't help with the Blues. If you don't get any suggestions here, maybe try yelp. :)

Check out the revamped "Silver Dollar" now called "Bar 702" on Spring Mountain for great Jazz and Blues off the strip. Am sure there are some good eats around there too... Let me know if you want me to join you!

Am sure they would have a Mexican one they would recommend...

Wasn't that the 'Sand Dollar'?  The 'Silver Dollar' is/was? a kicker bar over on South Freemont, as I recall.

If any of you used to frequent Viva Mercado's (now closed) you'll recognize quite a few staff members at Juan's.  It's in the Spring Valley neighborhood on Trop just west of Ft. Apache.  It's fairly new and AMAZING!  The fajitas really are flaming--great show!  They've received oodles of great reviews from TripAdvisor, Yelp etc...

The Cellar Lounge is a divey bar on Sahara and Valley View.  It's an underground bar--literally, down a flight of stairs!--with blues or jazz music nightly.

Cheers!

I second Juan's...viva Mercado's was my fave but Juan's is just as good...Coyote's on Sunset east of Green Valley parkway is good too...

NOT a fan of Lindo M...food is way bland...
