BUT.....why does it matter that the ladies be local or visiting with a current ad. Just because they have an ad up ( local or visiting ) does not mean they are available. I only ask this as my base city is Phoenix, but I never advertise in Phoenix. However my second city is Vegas and I am there almost monthly, and often if I have a few open slots I do advertise as visiting. I actually just got back last week.

I dare say I could hop a Southwest Flight and be just as available as a local in less time if I had the right offer. I only ask this as I would like to see some life back in this board, the GD board is talking about sore balls and that just does not interest me at all. Perhaps I am just missing a point that I am too selfish to recognize?

I've long been an advocate against them, but this board is like a fucking morgue and yesterday's reminder by Webbie that it's nice to look at pretty women won me over.  So...without further ado, Las Vegas is now photo thread friendly.  The rules, yes there are always rules, are:

One post per provider per thread
No links to websites or external ads
No excessive watermarking
Limited text (it's not an ad)
Local ladies or visiting ladies only with a current ad on this board
Guys are allowed no more than one drool post per thread
Themes are good but not mandatory for now
Please don't use the same pictures every time
Anything that I've forgotten  :)

I spend at the very least one week per month in LV and may not always have CURRENT ad ...

For example, this week's ad says "8/16-26" and next week I will be posting "9/11-21".  


My TER profile lists both NYC and LV as base cities ... but I guess based on the fact that my post on one of the picture threads was taken down I don't qualify.

Let me see if I got this right. They get one ad a week, right? But then they can post as many photo threads as they want, I'm assuming, which in itself is an ad, just doesn't have the obligatory links to their sites and shit, right?

Sorry ladies, I don't see what the fucking difference is between a photo thread and an ad other than you can post as many photo threads as you want just as long as you don't include the link to your site, which, when you twist the rules, doesn't mean shit cuz if the guy is interested all he has to do is a little homework to get to your site.

You already gave him a pic and your name. Shit. Just a few clicks of the mouse and he has your rates, reviews, and contact information.

I mean, if it's alright with Little Phil it's alright with me. I just don't see what the difference is.

but I assume the difference between an ad and a photo thread is that when lady posts an ad it is her thread, other ladies can't post ads to it, it is just for her and advertising herself.

A photo thread is more egalitarian if you will.
One lady may start the thread with a picture of herself, but all ladies may reply to that thread posting pictures of themselves.
Does it advertise the looks of the lady, of course it does, but it advertises the looks of all the ladies that choose to reply.
Equal opportunity if you will.

If you were to extend your argument that in just a few clicks you can find her rates, site, reviews etc...
anytime a lady posts any replies to the boards in a few clicks you can find that same stuff, and with one more click find her pictures anyway...so taken to it's logical conclusion, your argument could be extended to deny ladies the "right" to post anything but one ad a week since anything they post can lead to their information, and for some, words can be as alluring as a picture to make one seek out more information on the lady.

Since ladies can reply to as many text only threads as they like, or start as many discussions as they like, so long as those posts don't contain the obligatory ad information,  then by your argument shouldn't all posts by ladies that are not specifically their one ad a week be prohibited as well?

First off, Webbie's cool people. Met her a couple years back, sure if she remembers me she would rather not but that's for another thread...!

Anyway, I disagree about the fact a lady posting on a thread is in essence an 'ad'. She's just stating her opinion which should be respected.

The thing I was stating was if a lady can post her photo on any thread, that's marketing. An ad.

Don't get me wrong. I love looking at the ladies. And to tell the truth, I think a lot of TER's rules are bullshit. But I don't own the place, so, I have to try to adhere to them.

Look. I broke a lot of rules. I shouldn't be here if it weren't for some certain people for which I'm grateful. And I'm not trying to say if I can't get away with shit, others shouldn't either.

I ENCOURAGE it! Find that loophole. Go against the grain. Take chances. Be a maverick.

It's the lady's business. As long as she's true to herself and her customers there shouldn't be a problem if she puts up photos of herself even if it isn't an ad.

Fuck. I know why this site was conceived. To make the ladies accountable. But sometimes, it seems to me, the majority of the women have to work with one arm tied behind their back, so to speak, and that ain't right.

Hope this goes thru. Sometimes I'm an asshole, sometimes I'm a mangina. But all the time I'm me. I calls it like I sees it.

That's a'pos'trop'he a'bu'se (hint: the plural is not the possessive), but the point is that providers replying to photo threads with their own picture is OK, just like having their link in posts is OK.

Im a basic member..im allowed to post on other boards and replys.. but none of my 2 ads.on the provider board with other ladies are posted....i am discreet and follow the rules.. Do i need to become a VIP member..to do so..if so i will ....Thank you & have a nice wkend..Sheilastar

First off, SheilaStar, you sound like a sweet lady. Naive', yet ready to take on the world.

I would suggest you read the boards more and PM some of the more established providers.

These ladies have been around for a few, and know the ins and outs as far as WTF it is you're trying to ask.

It's commendable to go to a mod to ask WTF he thinks you should do to further your business, though LP, Gambler, and many other gents would be more than happy to tell you what they think, especially if you're a hot young lady, go to the other ladies.

You posted your query in the wolf's den. You're gonna grow up quick, whether you like it or not.

Get your VIP, and hang out on the PO Board, also. They bash the shit out of the guys, and eachother, and it'll be quite an education.

How do you know what the requirements are for the PO board are. Apparently you don't. Sheila had a lot of reviews at one time, but is starting over, get it?

Save the sooth-sayer advise from the west and leave it to 'Carnac the Magnificent'. Have some more drinks that is what you are best at.

Go to the My TER tab and the "my message board" link.  It shows your posts status and if unapproved, it will give a reason.

He just explained it if a lady posts a photo thread it cannot have a link to her website and only a few words.You can only post 1 photo per photo thread.
With an ad you can add links,post as many pics as you like and have your ad as long as you like.
At least that is the way I interpreted it to be and I am sure the guys don't mind the photos!lol
