I had screened and planned a two hour with this guy who cancelled less than 8 hours before our date.
When I said that I understand things come up, this was unacceptable and asked for something to make up for his irresponsibility he replied that he read and 8 hours is sufficient and he owes me nothing.

been nicer and not an A-hole to previous providers and treated the ladies better, because now you may not get to meet any established providers. Looks like you have just been placed on the providers BL of hobbyist not to meet.

If someone did take him up on this he didn't pass out before she got there. I'm sure he would have a legit reason for why that wasn't his fault either.

Granted we were supposed to meet the previous evening, but if someone is so nonchalant about canceling.. There are just plenty of guys out there that aren't!

8 hours and your looking for compensation?  Is this something listed on your website, oops no website, or did you communicate this during your screening?  This is Vegas things come up, most are here on business and meetings get scheduled.  Hell things come up in the real world.  If you cancel an appointment 8 hours or less out do you offer compensation or just leave the guy hanging.

Everyone complains about no shows both ways but if a hobbiest posts a no show everyone jumps all over him that it's not acceptable.  Yet you feel the need to oust this guy when he gave you 8 hours notice.

To be clear I have come to Vegas 3-4 times a year for awhile now and always have 2 or 3 dates when I'm there.  I've cancelled once 2 weeks out when my trip got cancelled but have had 3 ladies cancel on me with way less notice than your 8 hours, and a couple that were extremely late.  The 2 top level ladies were quite nice about it but the 3rd could have cared less.  But as they say "shit happens" and most of us smile and move on.

So lets play fair.  You can't have it both ways.

I can only speak for me, but when I have cancelled I always offer a discount or more time, whichever the gent prefers. If neither work I ask for his preferences and reach out to the lady and let her know the situation and that he has been screened and etc. I don't try to have it both ways. Maybe others do, but that's them.

Just because it happens, doesn't make it right. The whole c'mon it's Vegas is a cop out.
