i started adding up all the $ spent directly on the wonderful ladies i have met via TER and other similar manners .... since 2000  ....  big mistake ..  even though i can count on my fingers how many times i spent more than $900 in one night boy does it add up !   (typically  300 to 500)   after i got to $190K i stopped counting i mean  wtf  LOL  
     
 mmm well then again you know the expression - there is sex you pay for ..and sex thats free .. and free sex is always more expensive ..  so i didn' t even start adding up wife costs   LOL    
   
 well if i had to do it all over again .... i would be more selective so often i met someone just because i could rather than because i needed to .... and thus probably would only have spent ..... $180K      

Hey, if you can afford to treat yourself you might as well.  No use regretting the money you didn't spend when we're all on our death beds.  

Money spent on experiences is well spent. Good memories are of high value to me. Money spent on "stuff" turns to dust and blows away.

So when it's all said and done, I'd love to see the mortician wipe the smile off my mug..As Ol Blue Eyes once chimed, "I did it my way".

it is probably normal having regrets in your case.
You are getting older, this is a big part of it. Wait 5 more years you will be wondering why you
even hobbied in a first place, lol.  
I don't have regrets, I'm in my 40's
and no problem spending 2-3 grand on exceptionally great lady.
