END OF MESSAGE

So I had a provider who I had seen like 3 times in the past inform me the other day that she doesn't see locals anymore.  She was like, nothing personal just how it is. It didn't bother me much, too each their own but considering this gal started out on CL not long ago it sorta peeved me.  I also thought it was strange considering the current economic climate that a provider would take such action.  The final vindication came when I saw a posting for her on CV the other day...lol.  Bookings must not be that great.

I just wonder if its prudent to reject locals in these precarious economic times? There's no telling what this economy is gonna be like in a year either.

As you said to each their own, but I don't really understand why someone don't want to see a local, (unless he don't have or don't want to give References)...

I been in Vegas often now, and I have seen locals...

A local is always better because he can see the
provider often and be a regular...

I think that as long as they have 2 references (or at least 1 from a well known provider, that i can verify) they are good...

Hope you find the answer;)
xoxo,Jenn

This has happened to me twice. Go figure. Yes, seen them more than once and one 6 times. Suddenly same as you got. Sorry, don't see locals no more. lol WTF

I did get 3 reasons from the one I saw 6 times none form the other. All the reasons were fully debunked so I have no idea what they are thinking. It has to be something personal. But, as the personal goes of course they have a right to take the actions they do, but it does leave the head spinning a bit.

The good part, is we always get to revert back to that great ole refrain.... NEXT!!!

I have NEVER heard of a pro doing that. How odd. Perhaps they think it's a deterrent to LE? But to alienate the locals?  Sounds like a very poor business decision if you ask me. But then what do I know, I've only been in this wonderful business for over two decades!! ,)

#1) Locals if inclined to be stalkers are hard to deal with because they are right HERE. While the tourist is here and gone, with less likelihood of it.

#2) With locals it seemed the pressure was always on me (her actually) to get the incall location, since the felt they did not want to spring for it.

#3) SHIT!!!! I forgot #3

Anyway none of them held water for excuses to me, and I just moved on. And I don't think it was me, since several other hobbyist told me they were informed of the same.

And for the incall BS, I saw her six times are her residence. hahahah Go figure..NEXT

Smarty, they say that the memory is the second thing to go.  But I'll be damned if I can remember the first!!

Smarty ,
mabey you should stop at five !

It might save some of us from the effort of contacting her.

maybe these providers just don't want to see certain clients any more. I know, hard to believe. But the reasons given were all BS, right? It's less confrontational to say she doesn't see ANY locals instead of telling that one client to stop calling...yes, easy to come to this conclusion with out knowing all the facts...it just seems logical from what I've read in the posts here.

...and there is a way that may determine if that is the case.  If the girls' ads/websites say they will not see locals, then indeed that is the case.  If not, well, there may be others reasons.

What we do without them. A lot of girls even provide Local-guy discounts too...

Forget her and move on.....

I am not sure why a girl would not see locals but I guess thats her choice, me personally I don't see the issue with locals.  I enjoy seeing local guys.

Even if the economy was not the way it is I would see locals.  Now especially that she has seen you 3 times in the past she should at least take visits from locals if they are old friends.

Again, though she can operate her business the way she wants and as long as it works for her.

:)
XOXO

Problems!
One, Local, disillusional Guy, who crosses the line and starts the stalking, or appearance of, can quickly turn a Provider from seeing locals in fear of more of the same.

I'm confident that most women greatly appreciate the "known" ( the security and regularity of locals who keep things in perspective.)

Static, don't, necessarily, take her decision personally.  But, best for all of us Hobbiest to remember that we pay Providers to be convincing.  And, respectfully, the Pros are very good at it.  In reality, we should not allow ourselves to be convinced of their enjoying us to extend beyond that paid for session.

Make sense?

Oh, sometimes friendships are made.
Sometimes.

Yes, I don't take her position personally and I understand probably some of her reasons.  I've never been psycho/weirdo with any gal I've met with and always treated them with respect.  I'm pretty much vanilla here.  But I thought it was worth discussing in light of current economic situations.  I know you know you all don't wanna hear it but there's probably gonna be at least one major casino enterprise that I know of, if not more be pulled under into bankruptcy this year.  The coppers pulling their no-fly zone for call girls on the strip(of which I have never partaken) is indicative of the underlying economic currents. It will solve nothing and probably make the economy worse.

I think that if Goodman and other LV elders are pushed into a corner they will make Vegas a little Amsterdam.  Hey, some money is better than no money right>? Who are we kidding anyways>?  This town is driven by 2 things and don't tell me otherwise, gambling and prostitution.

This town is driven by 3 things: gambling, housing, and the idea of sex (not prostitution).

While housing is in the shitter, some of the related industries are hurting as well.  The World Furniture Market is only part way to expanding to a size rivaling High Point, NC.  No chance that they'll ramp up quick with that part of the industry doing poorly.  Other construction trades are doing crappy (the pawnshop article in Sunday's LVRJ mentioned he won't take tools anymore cause they don't sell).

And there's plenty of non-prostitution ideas of sex out there.  Whether it's the dress of a cocktail waitress, some kind of sex-tinged show, strip clubs, nightclubs, etc. the exploitation of the female sexual form is all over town and makes a hell of a lot more money than the exchange of money for sex.

Back to the original complaint, not seeing locals.  Maybe I'm in the minority but so what?  I can see where a non-tourist market where locals are a much greater percentage of the clients vs non-locals.  Many providers can survive as an outcall only service in Vegas and that targets the guys coming to town with cash: non-locals.  More power to them.  If you want to throw a pity party for the local guys that can't see so&so, drop me an invite.  Respect the provider's decision and move on (cause some of us already have).

Her name is Bre (squirter) from Cityvibe and she has good good reviews on here. She stopped seeing locals I would say maybe two years ago

"This town is driven by 3 things: gambling, housing, and the idea of sex (not prostitution)."....lawl. you make me laugh quzi...so, the idea of sex is what draws ppl here?  puleezz?

And you say housing is in the shitter along with your precious World Furniture Market?  Big suprise.  It never amazes me that as$hats always come into Nevada thinking they can solve the problem with more garbage...You know what they should of done with that land?  Created a state of the art xero tech growing facility coupled with a medical complex...something geared more toward engineering and industry rather than how to fill our houses with junk.

Like Smarty said I could care less if a provider decides to see a local or not.  It was meant to be a measure of conditions, not a condemnation of how a gal decides to promote herself.  The provider in question I respect with the utmost gratitude, I merely meant to gauge some other folks opinion on the matter.  /Rant off

If in fact the provider in question is Bre, I feel sorry for you local boys. I saw her a few weeks ago, while I was visiting from DC, and if you read my review, you can tell how impressed I was with her.

She was an amazing experience, one I will hopefully get a chance to experience again and again when I visit.

Having said that, she never responded to my follow up "love note" and indicated that she has many regulars, so maybe her saying "No" to the locals, is her polite way of saying "there is no room at the inn".

Even in these tight economic times, quality is ALWAYS in demand.

We should all get the message in our various walks of life.

Oh and for your information, I was her very first review.

...a change in the personal life of the provider.  We are people and are evolving and changing with time and experience just as everyone else.

The stalker reason rings true for some I have known.  Perhaps a relationship with a civilian in which she agrees to be monogamous with the exception of clients AND agrees to see only clients from out  of town.  This way he or she is not taking the chance of running into a client at the grocery store.  Maybe a provider get's a "day job" and doesn't want to a coworker or their brother seeing them online and making an appt.

Additionally, processes change for many reasons in most every business.  And frankly, while the economy may have affect on the business practices of some.  I think that most of us are maintaining much the same standards and practices as they are what works for us.  The fact that the inquiries may be "down" isn't a reason to start compromising or doing things we aren't comfortable with.  xo, Erica Stone
