Interesting Request-Other Side of the Coin

I received an "interesting request" of my own last week (see bama's post on 3/26 about his interesting request.)

Someone emailed me requesting to spend time with me.  He offered to write "an outstanding" review of me if I saw him FOR FREE.

He assured me that he was a complete gentleman and that I would enjoy my time with him as well.  (Ummmm that's pretty much everyone I meet already sooooo...)

His email proceeded to tell me that he's heard "great things" about me but that I don't have enough reviews and a new one would "help my business immensely."

I didn't bother responding, I simply hit the delete button and, as I do, proceeded to vent on Twitter!  (My form of therapy lol.)

Has anyone else received this type of request?  This was the first one for me and I found it very offensive.  Maybe it was just a joke or a test but...ugh

who, in the next breath, threatens a bad review if the girl dosent do this or that for free or at some absurd rate. I would ignore him for sure.
These low lifes slither around preying on new girls not sure exactly how things work.
Good for you for posting this Lynette..

But says my rates are too high and maybe we can trade for a discount for a good review. No thanks, I don't do that nor do I want to see someone haggling with my rates! Duh

There's a guy doing the same here in LA, some of the threats he makes when he isn't immediately appeased are less pleasant than those described in other posts here.  Ignoring seems to be the right move

That's really bad for all of us Hobbyists who depend on the TER reviews to be honest, accurate and not influenced by anything except looks and performance.

The Circus is clearly missing a clown :-)

It depends on my mood how i answer these studs, last one sent me a message saying he thought my donation was too high but he would love to see me.

I replied "oh my god, i'm so sorry my donation offended you, i am more than happy to see you for $100, i hope this makes you happy".

He nearly tripped over his cock with his reply.

I then replied, there will be another donation of $400 to not offend me though, i hope this makes you even happier knowing that we both respect each other.

I didn't hear from him again looool

guys try to pay the least they can for sex. If your raise your rates on TER because you decide "it" is now worth more, us guys don't get offended. Someone explain this to me. I am out of my area of expertise. I am sure someone will be telling me what a dumbass I am pretty soon in this thread (or some other derogatory comment).

I disagree with you, you are completely in your area of expertise, now back to the Circus :-)

Her rate is her rate, end of story. If I can't pay, I don't play. I saw a young lady who I thoroughly enjoyed. I had planned on seeing her again. She then raised her rate to a point where I didn't see it in her so I dropped her from someone I would see again.
I never try to negotiate this...it's not my style

to admin. especially if it was a PM here. Same if he was a P411 member and you had his P411 ID. TER or P411 will ban members for something like that.

However if it was just an email to you with no evidence of him being a member of one of these sites, I guess nothing you can do but delete the email. :)

There are all kinds of "interesting" characters out there.

While I'm sure he's a member here since he offered the review, he sent me an email from a random yahoo or gmail account like LovesZumba@yahoo or BirdIsTheWord@gmail

In hindsight, I should have held on to the email and IP address but, oh well!

Yes, "interesting" indeed!

Offensive: you aren't worth your rate.  I think that's self explanatory, but to be clearer, anytime you tell someone they aren't as great as they think they are (true or not) they probably aren't going to like you very much for it.

Not offensive:  You're worth your rate but I can't afford it.  If you ever have any specials or a free afternoon where you wouldn't mind taking what I can afford, please keep me in mind, I'd love to see you.

If their rate is too high I just see someone else and figure the market will tell them if they need to bring their rate down.  If they keep their rate high then they probably are doing just fine at their rate and don't want or need any extra work from me.

On occasion I've tried the second approach with mixed success, I usually see women in the 4-6 range for 3-4 hours, and I usually only review if I have a positive or extremely horrible experience so that may weight the response.  In other words if they do happen to have a slow week and want to try someone new, they probably won't have to reduce very much, they get a multi-hour playdate, and while  I may not write them a review, it's also pretty unlikely I'll tank their average if they give me a shot.

"You're worth your rate but I can't afford it.  If you ever have any specials or a free afternoon where you wouldn't mind taking what I can afford, please keep me in mind, I'd love to see you."  Isn't this a little bit disingenuous since you don't know if they're really worth the rate they are charging? If you haven't seen them yet, how do you know? ALso, how many TER reviews are there where the Hobbyist didn't think he got his moneys worth?--Man
