When I sit at an empty table I move all ashtrays out of sight. If someone new sits down and lights up I will politely say to them, "hey.. I don't smoke, do you mind to keep that to a minimum and please blow it away from the table for everyone else?" A lot of times they will just up and leave which is perfect, other times they will finish up what they need and put it out.

I will never forget one time in Atlantic City where a guy was being so rude with cigarettes and he made a snarky comment, "I don't know about in the USA, but in Canada it's legal to smoke at the casino." I replied, (please hold your ears if you are offended by non lady like verbiage), "oh, it's legal here. So is belching in ones face or farting and blowing it your way. Want to talk about legalities or respect?"

It ruled. He left.

I know that some have non smoking areas in the casino

Great forethought Trojan

I love a man who plans ahead and thinks of the details.
I quit smoking about 15 months ago and I'm supersensitive to it now. Yes I still use the vaporizer. Actually I enjoy it a lot. But, t's far less offensive and damaging.

ceasar's sports desk area is so huge you can find an area without smoke

I'm impressed with Aria, I just looked it up and their Sport's Book is now smoke free. Their ventilation is awesome, I'm very sensitive to smoke but have little issue there.
