will be airing soon? A friend said she heard on the radio that there will be..

I know there is Gigolos and its quite entertaining ..

It may lead to problems for ladies..? or it may just make it a great boost for business.. ?!?
I 'm just wondering what others opinions would be and concerned  how it may be a detriment  to las Vegas providers /

My great friend nikki ofcourse is the icon in Las Vegas and she in my eyes showed and spoke candidily about life/her visions,. written beautifly about a beautiful woman..  in a serious and spiritual manner(kudos to her on that).

I still cherish my issue that was signed by her! Thanks Nikkster..
It was inspirational and empowering to me as  I was new to the industry and it shed light and a sense of empowerment about my personal reasons..

other than great article .. I wonder if a reality show may portray  providers in not the best of light . Possibly mock us : ( that would be sad...

id love to hear others opinions. OR if My friend may have been wrong and there is no show ..

Either way I always want to show support to who ever may be in this supposed show..

Thanks.
Lovely Lorena

I'm curious to read what Nikki wrote. It sounds great. Do you have a link by chance?

If there really is a show, my guess is it will probably focus on both the personal and professional lives of the ladies to show that escorts have an everyday life outside of the hobby and providing like significant others, families, children, etc.

There is a show on Netflix (if any of you have a subscription) called Satisfaction.  It is an Australian-based TV show that circles around the lives of 5 women who are escorts. There is quite a bit of nudity and simulated sex and does show how the women prepare for dates, weird requests they receive from their customers, how they balance their lives, how they handle and deal with difficult clients that want to go from P4P to a real relationship, etc.  Although the sure I am sure is somewhat dramatized, the issues are a lot of the same issues I see discussed on the TER boards.  This show is scripted, however, not a reality tv show.

I think if the show is done right it will open the eyes of a lot of people into how the escort business works.  But with reality type shows we never really know how things will turn out. Still, my two cents is that any publicity is good publicity.

...in the sense that has become a popular format on U.S. TV. Reality shows are scripted. They hire writers, directors, set designers, wardrobe managers, makeup technicians, etc. Such a show would likely focus on the sensational and dark aspects of Escorting in order to keep folks coming back each week to watch and downplay the everyday aspects of it. While drama and dark things do definitely occur in the Hobby, there's no doubt that the producers of the show would sensationalize it to maximize viewership and promote their own agenda. I think it would be a bad idea. Would such a show also delve into the typical day of a Hobbyist? Any volunteers?!  ;)

This kind of publicity almost invites an LE response.

There was a beautiful girl in Dallas years ago that openly gave interviews.

Then she got busted.

Clandestine and UTR to whatever degree possible is prudent.

I was contacted last week when I was in NYC by HBO. They said they are making a documentary/reality show on "working girls" and the lives we live. They said they wanted to follow me in my everyday life, how ladies post ads, get calls, how to trust people outside the hobby, ect.
I told them that I like to keep my business discreet and would not be interested so you may be seeing something on HBO soon

Until prostitution is legalized (other than just at the Nevada brothels), any publicity of this nature could only invite more problems for the hobby, not only with LE responses, but also from those groups who are totally against all forms of prostitution

only thing on HBO worth a Sh*t these days is GOT

and Daenyrs the mother of dragons just sky rocketed up the favorite list of characters, if you have a scorecard, passing the oversexed imp, Tyrion, by light years based upon the latest episode.

That "Z" still won't respond to me in setting something  up is still bothering me even after "Y" introduced me to her and we all had a FANTASTIC time is still sort of bothering me.

Yes... Nikki rocks as does Lorena. ;) ;)
