I'll be in Vegas for Super Bowl weekend/birthday weekend and was wondering if there are any special events going on in Vegas during the Super Bowl. Been to Vegas several times before but never for the big game. Anyone here have previous experience with a Vegas Super Bowl weekend? Do hotels/bars/clubs have special events for the game? Thanks for any help!

Tons do! It's a huge weekend (my favorite! I already booked four nights at the newest boutique hotel on the strip!)
Last year another lady and I went to the Flamingo party, free food and alcohol with a better station right outside the doors! Lol! The place erupted when that safety happened! Lots of people must have played the prop bet.. (I didn't and I took Denver! And again at the second half! Boo!) Anyway, back in topic..

I would suggest to call where you want to go and book it early. Things get filled up. People post ads on craigslist offering to pay people to hold spots in the sports book.  

I can't imagine one sports bar not having a special event for this and the tables in the sports books will all be reserved.

I was there last year and going again this year. Hey, I didn't see you, how rude of you not to say "Hi"........as if you would know who the F I am...lol
But the bad news is that you have to be a Total Rewards VIP to get in the Flamingo party(I ride the shirt tails of my friends, that's how I get in). But the guys and I are looking forward to this year's trip...Now say "Hi" this time...stuck up....lol
And yes I had the prop bet that there WOULDN'T be a safety.....rats!!!
The sport rooms at all the hotels will all be crowded so do get there early and it would help if you had a players card, either Mlife, Total Rewards or the Red Card..it gives you some leverage depending on where you're staying.

We should join hpygolky. He always brings the party.. We just haven't been able to meet yet.
I am all Ravens tomorrow, but we won't have to worry about that come Super Bowl! May the best team win.. Or at least the team that brings it tomorrow. :)

I'm hoping for Baltimore / GB, but I'm thinking it will be Denver / Seattle.

I know a few people who just walked in to the flamingo event last year. Right at half time.. I met two people who even snuck in to Caesars NYE dinner! Maybe a Vegas version of Wedding Crashers, lol...
I'm not going to admit if I snuck in to a Justin Timberlake meet & greet a couple of years ago at Planet Hollywood.. Ok, ok... I did....
