It has been awhile since this list was last published and I have seen several security questions on the board.  If there are any errors to correct or additions to make, please let me know.

I've stayed at Mirage on several occasions and never saw security any earlier than 10pm (until around 6am).

Comped at the Linq a few months back and while I did not not see security, a room key is needed to access the elevators (must be waved in front of a sensor or elevator will not move).

I mean no offense, but why is it such a big deal to list which hotels have security or not?

Is it really such a problem to meet with your date at valet, at a lobby bar, restaurant etc...?

Just curious the reason(s) behind having to post this information as opposed to simply figuring out where/how to meet in hotel/casino without raising eyebrows.

Communication and mutual trust is key, isn't it?  Say XYZ resort has security, so why not communicate that with each other ahead of time (if not already known) and figure out where and how to meet discreetly ahead of time

I recently stayed at trump towers for LV M&G. And they do have security at the entrance of elevators starting in the early evenings now. As well as they also dont even allow food delivery guys to come up. If staying there you will have to go down and meet them in the lobby.

Not only do they not have security at the elevators, they don't have elevators (or anything else) any more!

I have never presupposed that the list would be helpful to everyone, but I have never found more information rather than less to be detrimental.   Say a business traveler is staying at the same hotel as his colleagues.  Knowing in advance the security situation would enable him to plan his time around going to an incall or leaving a key at a predetermined location.  Meeting a provider in the lobby could spell the end of his career.

In addition, traveling ladies have expressed thanks to me for the list in that they are able to set up an incall without having to walk past security with a dozen different men.

So you don't find the information useful, fine.  That you, as your question presumes, think that therefore no one would; is more than a little self-centered.

No offensive intended/none taken.

The same sort of "back door" entrance is available at Encore.

Hmm, wonder if they planned that.

I was on my way back to the room with my ATF who was spending the week with me about 3 in the morning and they wanted to see both of our keys.  She wasn't carrying a key.  Now we've become close enough that she has told me her real name and even invited me to stay at her apartment next time in town.  Her real name was on the room reservation and her driver's license was in my pocket.  And they were being real dicks about it and demanded to see her driver's license before letting us upstairs.

I don't have a problem with security checks per se, but if they're going to do them they should do it 24/7!  Walking back to the room, provider on arm, can happen at noon as well as midnight.  It pissed me off so much that I'll never stay at the Monte Carlo again.

Yes, there are many guys who are in Vegas on business and they do not want to take the chance of being seen with anyone who is NOT their SO; regardless of the location or amount of time together in public. For some discretion is ALWAYS the most important thing and not chances of any kind are taken.

So your list is ALWAYS helpful. Thanks again.
