Recommended Solo Activities for Vegas?

Hey Guys (and Girls!),

So...I typically despise going to Vegas by myself. While people generally seem to go with friends or in groups, it can feel a little awkward to be there alone. So...what do you recommend are good activities or things to do that aren't so awkward in Vegas by yourself? Last time I went, I ended up spending a good portion of my time at the spa or ordering room service. Boring!

Hoping to venture out of my shell this trip and experience some Vegas culture. Just not sure where to start!

Your recommendations are greatly appreciated!

There is so many things to do in Vegas!   If you have a car you can get to lots of places.  On the strip a lot of the casinos have attractions like: the pirate battle @ TI, the volcano @ the Marage, the fountains and on & on.   Fremont street is a blast, and the Mob Musuem is awesome.   If you like nature Red Rock, the Valley of Fire, the Spring Preserves, the Vegas Wash, the trails by lake Mead & many others are a fun way to spend the day.

...two years ago.  It makes me question your recommendations of Las Vegas ladies.  When was the last time you saw any of them?!

Hey Big Poppa!

I didn't check this thread. I figured I would get a message if anyone responded like I do with my ad posts. Silly me! Anyways...I really like music. It would be nice to do some hiking too. If I can find the time. I will be driving there but expect to be pretty bust throughout my trip, so I'm looking for cool things to do that don't take a lot of time. I wonder if Vegas has a City Pass program like some other major cities?

Eating,
generally most places I dine at (also love the Y) have accommodating bar areas - examples that I like

Julian Serrano at Aria
The Henry at Cosmo
DOCG at Cosmo
Crush at MGM

Tons of sightseeing and walking -

gambling is always done better when alone

I have even seen a show by myself (rock of ages) and enjoyed it.

Actually I see many "single" people in Vegas walking around, dining etc.

That's cool. Maybe I won't feel like such a loner now, lol!
