Hello everyone,

I might be relocating to Las Vegas soon and I am thinking about living in Henderson. Does anyone knows a nice apartment complex in this area? I would prefer a place where young professionals live vs families as I am 35 and single. I am looking online but it is kind of hard to figure things out. I will be traveling quite a few times between San Diego and Vegas to check places out if I get the job but wanted to see if anyone has any suggestion.

Thank you!!

Henderson is nice, but lots of scorpions.  Shake your boxers hard before you put them on.   =)
Green Valley in Henderson is nice.

Try Summerlin.

Depends on which part of Henderson you live in I guess.  My colleagues see  lots of scorpions.

Sooooo many nummy nummy places over that way! And new housing developments as well. That's where I'd live!

Henderson is fine, scorpions are a myth. Eastern Ave does have some awesome food establishments. Unfortunately they're all located on a half mile stretch of a the busiest road in the valley.

Summerlin also good. Very good.

At your age you should check the growing loft market/scene.

Even if you're temporarily here, buying then selling might be cheaper than renting. Rental market doing very well here.

Good luck,

B

I used to live off Pebble and Pecos. Place was ripe with the damn things. I hired an exterminator and it took months before I stopped seeing the damn things and unless you destroy their food source, they're never really gone.

been in vegas for 10 years and lived in 7 hills, silverado ranch, south LVB and now in SW and i've never seen a scorpion...as was suggested if you have your own place then be sure to have a bug guy to make sure you never do too...

anyway i lived in the manhattan for awhile a few years ago and it had a pretty nice young vibe...i think the same across the street at boca...if i was looking now i'd see what i could rent in city center or one of the lofts as was suggested...i wouldnt go far into henderson though...eastern, 7 hills, GV area but not old hendo...

Know the perfect place for you but it's not an apartment complex. Walk right across the street and you are at "The District"....

My tenant moves out 11/27. 2/2 with a 1 car garage for $950 a month. PM me for details....
