No issue with agencies in general and it's entirely possible it can be done within that system. My gut lurch against an agency lady for newbie/virgin is that based on what *you lovely gents yourselves* have said about YOUR enormously varied experiences with different agencies AND different ladies within EACH agency....

IMO a newbie/virgin should have a particular type of experience - where the vibe is about feeling safe/understood/space held/nurtured/challenged/encouraged/educated, where the lady has taken the time to emotionally connect via email/whatever and sort some things out herself so she can create that vibe so that upon meeting there's significantly less anxiety/nervousness, has a demonstrated way of making a variety of men FEEL the thing EACH OF THEM want to feel vs just being able to get them off and out the door on time, has the autonomy of decision making to let the clock run if she wants to, and a variety of other things that I have higher doubts an agency lady could/would be able/interested in providing.

I get the feeling you've been hurt/felt taken advantage of by indies. If that's true, I'm sad about that but I also get that it is a reality for whatever percentage of people. I just disagree that the solution is an agency lady for this particular scenario. I'd suggest the solution is advice on choosing the right indie - not just by personal recommendation (still never a bad thing) but advice from the male perspective on how to discern within HIMSELF what he wants/needs as far as vibe/experience/outcome and then how to apply that to researching for himself someone who meets those criteria.

All of us ladies can toss our hats in the ring but that doesn't mean shit at the end of the day. You guys have the lived experience of figuring out what EACH OF YOU want, and then how you've gone about finding it. Teach this guy that. Teach him to fish. Don't just say "therz a honey hole o'er yander, good luck son"... 🙏🏼
