Stayed at or gone to see someone at the D?  I'm seriously thinking of staying there.  I'm wondering how big the rooms are mostly the corner Kings, and what's the noise level like from Freemont Street?  Thanks for any and all help.

They've remodeled the whole property so the rooms are modern and clean and there is no security at the elevators.  I'm not sure about the cost but I'm sure it's reasonable

quite a few times but I don't think I was in a corner King room.
The rooms are modern.
I looked on oyster.com here is the link below it shows the pics for the corner king room.
It also shows you the pics for the Suite at the D(pretty nice according to the pics)
Have fun and enjoy!

...many times.  Yes, rooms are pretty nice.  I learned from my first stay there to request a room on the quiet side of the building when checking in.  That request has never been denied.  The noise from the stage next to the hotel carries into the rooms on same side of building.  The Downtown Grand only a block away from the D has even nicer rooms and can often times be a better value.  And there is zero noise no matter which tower or side of the building they put you.  Zero issues with dates coming to my room either place.

Downtown Grand gets my vote for best downtown room!  Modern, decent comps, and most of all pretty quiet.  Triple George steak house across the street is excellent as is Pizza Rock right next door.
