Where is the best? Obviously home made but I mean for going out? I always wondered!

and while buffets are not my choice, the Thanksgiving Buffet downtown at the Main Street was really wonderful.  All homemade turkey and fixins along with all the other buffet regulars.  For Thanksgiving it was great.

ots of places are closed on turkey day in vegas
-- and those that are open , with good deals and quality meals have long , long lines.

mimi's cafe has a good deal, long line

toby' keith's i love this bar at harrah's has a real good deal

there's a restaurant on bottom floor of Ceasar's palace's forum shops mall ,  
a NY style one, but I think it went out of business, had a good deal.

so when we going? I'll drive.

Not just go by the heavily promoted things that the internet advertises.  
I asked locals because perhaps there is something that's a local secret or something that isn't necessarily known well.  

And no, Google is NOT my friend! That guy thinks he knows everything but sometimes a real human has better answers. ;)

todds' is SWAMPED on T day.  

Problem is most of the locals like to go out on T day,
and lot of local places are packed with long lines

I'm glad somebody posted this because it saved me the effort of doing so. LOL.  

I appreciate all the great input and will be checking out all of it to figure out where i will dine while in town on turkey day
