Pay the $30 to get it and read the reviews on the providers that you're interested in seeing.  Research is your best friend.  Like many here will attest try to limit your scope to well reviewed providers that have multiple reviews.  Also, scroll down this board and you'll see some threads regarding some well reviewed providers that have had a lot written about them and some bait and switch going on, among other things.

If you like providers that are more mature you're in for a treat.  Lots of great providers to get acquainted with.
