MichaelCA is dropping his duties here so I volunteered to take over. I also moderate the Seattle and Politics boards. Seattle is REALLY laid back, ( I live in Seattle) and Politics is well, shall I say....intense.
I lived in Las Vegas for a year last century and loved it, except of course in the summer when the thunderstorms flooded the roads and would wash my car off into the arroyos. But I still visit 3 or 4 times a year. I'll be down later this month.
Anyway, follow the few rules we have, play nice, and we'll all be winners!
Meal Ticket eh? Let's try to figure that one out on our new mod. LOL
Welcome back to "The Meadows", hope you enjoy your stay. Won't be much work for you around here as of late. It's really slow in August. It takes weeks for a post to drop into the 2nd page, that tells you anything. We all behave outselves.
Welcome to the LV & Nevada board. I gusss Michael_CA got overwhemled doing this one as well as the Porn Star board (and any other ones I didn't know he's also doing). Here's hoping your task will be as easy as possible!
One quick question, though. Since this serves as a Nevada board in addition to covering metro Las Vegas, the topic of legal brothels often comes up here. I often try to steer newbies to some of the sites & message boards that specialize in LPIN (Legal Prostitution In Nevada) when they have questions relating specifically to the brothels. I know that TER does not generally allow direct links or references to other message boards. So I usually tell folks to do an Internet search (Google, etc.) on the keyword "LPIN" to find such sites. But since TER's foucs is more on escorts (indies & agencies) than on Nevada's legal brothels (though there are many LPIN courtesans reviewed here), might it be OK to give out the URLs of those sites devoted exclusively to LPIN? Or should I continue to ask those making such inquiries to do a independent search (or directly e-mail me for the information). Thanks in advance for any clarification you can provide! And best wishes to you as our new moderator on this regional board.
Thanks for checking! So for now, I'll continue to respond to such inquiries as I have in the past and BC any additional info (such as URLs), pending word of any change in TER policy. No problem!
For those situations (unknown gender) I've always suggested 'e, but I guess that sounds too British - but after all though, it IS their language we (ab)use.
