Im in a little stuation here that Im trying to get out of. I invited a friend to come out from Vegas in July who I have not seen for two years. She introduced me to my best friend who I will see in August and October, The closer the time gets the more pressure that I am feeling. Im not thrilled about this at all. My family will be going to a wedding during the week she is supposed to be heree. So, I Could bail out of it by telling her I have to be with family. I already gave her money for the plane fair she bught so she can't yell at me for not doing that part of it. In all reality, I don't really care if I see her again she doesn't mean anything to me except for the fact she did introduce me to my best friend. I'll be talking with my best friend later on today about it and see how she feels about it. I don't want this person getting mat at my best friend either. Im not angry Im just confused and wish i hadnt done this in the first place.

What's the problem?  Tell her something has come up, and you need to cancel.  Since you've paid her for the plane ticket, she can either come to town, or not.  It's WEEKS away, so I would assume that she can reschedule the time.

no problem
just call 1-800-tony-soprano
send the money to me
i will come out and be your "friend to the family" for one day.
I have neat colleciton of sunglasses I can wear, many from Vegas (Elvis type). Big thick black hair too.  When people come up to me and start conversation I stuff
a capagul in my face and say things like
"eh"
"ah"
"O"
"UU"
Talk with my hands alot. Life of party.
What da ya say? Deal?

call & tell her you don't think it's a good idea to see her. You changed your mind & she can keep the money.
