I am writing on behalf of myself and TravelinLover and for Gina

TravelinLover and the sweet Cindy Spice are traveling back to Loma Linda hospital today to pay another visit to Gina there. Now there is a pair with big hearts and minds. We should receive an update on her condition later from Travelin and Cindy.

For now let me just steal some information from Travelin’s previous posts that have now rolled off and onto page 2 and 3, if I may.

For those that missed out on that information, Gina was involved as the sole occupant of her car, in a major auto accident coming back to Vegas from LA on I-15, leaving the roadway, flipping the car several times and being thrown some 50 ft. into the desert. Luckily it appears she survived was rescued and flown to Loma Linda emergency hospital, where she remains a month later. Gina has numerous injuries that include a fractured skull, fractured neck in two places, both legs broken and now in casts, with many abrasions and contusions. Luckily her face remained unscathed. Make no mistake this is going to be a long recovery period. Gina is one of us. She is part of this community and does not have a lot of family members. Clearly recovery will require much more than the wounds and fractures, to have a life put back together again.  Her car is gone, there will likely be much physical therapy and just generally getting her life back to normal. This is where we all come in we hope.

I met Gina a few years ago and knew then she was a special girl. She had just started out with an unnamed agency here, and was going gangbusters. I new she was going places. Obviously, she turned independent and good for her. She did not retain her multitude of reviews from the agency, but no matter. She is back on a roll with new ones. Forget the last one. That guy openly stated in review he was drunk. Geesh. I kept in contact with Gina, and also teach on the side at a local professional school, where one day I say Gina again. She was taking classes. Thankfully it was not mine, so as to have her in the front row making faces at me a raising her skirt, cause I know she would. Lol But we did share our breaks out on the balcony. She can get a tude now and then, but Gina has a head on her shoulders, not to mention is the sweetest girl you could ever meet in this thing or ours.

She was always up for the parties and the M & G’s, the Spinner bowling or go-carts and anything else where there was a gathering of the community. I am sure you all have your stories about Gina and she has formed relationships with the many. I just wanted to make sure all know that I too know Gina quite well.

Her very best friend right now of course is TravelinLover. He is a true gentleman and a friend of mine as well. I am happy to call him that. Travelin and I have joined forces to create something good for Gina. It’s all bad right now. And if any of us were in the same situation, we would truly enjoy when others made it good. As Gina has enriched all that have met and spent time with her.

Monday, TravelinLover and myself will be opening an account at Wells Fargo close to my house west of town. This will be a “Gina Recovery Fund” (or other such name) with two account names for trust and security to all. Once we have the account established, you would only need to stop at any Wells Fargo branch office and make a deposit. We do want everyone to feel comfortable on the funds that it is a two person account and will be going to the true cause. Travelin and I trust each other, but others may not. In fact, I know I have my detractors on the board, who may not like me at all. That is perfectly okay, since this is not about me, it is about Gina.

Travelin asked me to be the salesman on this project and post this information for all. This is no sales job, in my mind. I am positive that as sure as my name is Smarty or something else, the community will come through. Let me just say though, many of us exchange a huge amount of money every month in our chosen fun time hobby. A little donation there and a little here next month and so on may make the major difference in Gina getting her life back together again. It could be a long road, let’s hope not. She is strong willed and a determined woman.

TravelinLover or I will keep you posted on the balance of the account on a regular basis. Please do not inform Gina. Currently we want to not mention it until the time is right. There is a right time for everything. There is a right time for a session, for a M & G, for bowling, for Super Bowls or the right time for a donation to the fund.

I apologize for the length of this post, but wanted to get all the information out. After all I am the salesman you know. Further information will follow tomorrow with the account number and updates on Gina’s condition from our big hearted TravelinLover and Cindy Spice. I just hope they do not pull over in Baker or some shit and get a room. lmao That is unacceptable.
