Just received an e-mail with the subject title of

Subject:  Completion of GFE letter and attachments

WHAT ???

Actually it was regarding a re-finance I am doing on my house and the online document handler the bank uses.
GFE: Good faith Estimate

Sure this has been discussed before - but it just seemed funny. I much prefer OUR GFE, than a banks' GFE.

Would think of GFE as a good faith estimate. Only here in the hobby does it mean something else.

Sometimes terms go from this biz into the world the other way. I was reading about the Enron scandal recently and traders used the term "donkey punch" as a term of how they ripped off competing commodity traders.

Donkey punch is a violent, sick sexual act that doesn’t even work…and no I haven’t tried it.
