Are the rooms nice?  I've only gambled and gone to shows there.

How is security?  Can I bring a "friend" over easily or will security give me a hard time?  I didn't see it listed on the hotels list...

The standard rooms are OK, nothing to rave about.  The penthouse suites are another story...

During the day, no security but usually have security at night.  Like any posted security, they can call up to your room to let them pass.

They're in the middle of a large expansion project so parking can be a hassle (valet is on the second floor of the parking garage just north of the main building) and they're using the Atrium Suites parking for overflow (just north of the Hard Rock, same side of the street).

Wasted Space just opened up this past week, which is what they're calling an "anti-club" or to most people, a small concert venue.  Just outside that area is what they're calling Hell's Belles with a couple of go-go dancers and female dealers in sexier outfits near the table games in that area (similar to the Pussycat area in Caesars and the Pleasure Pit at Planet Hollywood).  Was supposedly going to be co-marketed with Tera Patrick (of porn star fame) but I guess the casino marketing people wants to use her in a different angle.

The pool/lagoon is still overcrowded for Sunday's Rehab party and they've been doing poolside concerts on Friday nights.

One final note, Harmon between Paradise and Koval is a single lane in each direction due to the construction at and near the Hard Rock.  You do not want to be on Harmon if you can help it.

The basic rooms at the Hard Rock may not be much to rave about, but last time I was there with a bunch of girlfriends was a blast! We went to Body English which is one of the big clubs there and danced the night away. It was a Sunday night and the rest of the strip seemed fairly mellow, but this club was really rockin..so you might enjoy a visit if you like music and girls who shake their thang on the dance floor
