I spent a couple of nights at both the ARIA and the Polazzo.  IMHO, The Polazzo was way better for hobby time.  The pools were better, the rooms bigger with more "options", and the rates were similar.  I have previously stayed at the Venetian, and it was like the "younger sibling" to the Polazzo.  Very similar but not quite as nice.   FYI, If you book at the Polazzo, spend the extra $ for the "premium" package, it includes special check-in (on the 23rd floor, breakfast, drinks, hor-de-vours, and way better service... the rapid check in alone was worth it).  Best of luck.. have FUN!!!!

Sorry for my recent errant post. I was inquiring about LV hotels not LA.  I already have a pretty good idea  concerning cool hobby friendly hotels in LA I dearly love the Andaz]  but have not been to LV for a few years.  Mostly use to play at The Rio..Harrahs and Mirage.    I chose to repost as I don't think the new [ and definitly not improved] board format allows thread subjects to be seen unless someone checks the original post.  And, I have yet to figure out how to edit with the new format.  SOooooooo , whats the best hobby friendly LV Casino hotel these days???  Thanks

I would have to say Aria,Palazzo,Mandalay Bay,the Palms hope this helps you out.

But some of them have security at the elevators so you have to go down to meet the girl.  I've stayed at a number of places on the strip and have never had a problem.  If you want to know where there is security do a search on the Vegas Board - I think the author was TashaVegas but it's been a while since she's posted it.

In fact, I've had room service cum up at several of them and there was little doubt what was going on in the room and they never even bat an eye.

Also, if you like the old version of TER better, try this link - you can still view it in that format.

Good luck and remember to have fun!

I have to agree with Bufpiz the Polazzo is one of my Fav. and paying the extra $ for premium package is well worth it.

Lustfully Yours,

Mandalay Bay and Venetian/Palazzo.

In fact, I'll be checking in the Palazzo tomorrow for the weekend. (I go to Vegas every 6 to 8 weeks. )

The Hotel at the Mandalay Bay has excellent suites and no security. I don't stay there anymore but I wish I could.

I also stay at Wynn/Encore a lot but I don't think it is as hobby-friendly as most other Strip hotels.

I haven't stay at Aria yet so I don't have a comment on that.

I'm so happy you asked... I was about to inquier also. I might be there Over the weekend, Until Monday afternoon.

Good Luck!
